Steve: Come to Bitten in november!
Nosferatu Night, London - 20th September
Nosferatu Night - a long-standing event organised and run by Sector 14 in London.
Place : Pages Bar, Page Street, Westminster, London (Off Vauxhall Bridge Rd, nearest tube stns: Pimlico/Victoria/Westminster)
Time : 5pm - extended licence
Cost : I believe this one is £5.00 a ticket for the extra time
Date : Saturday 20th September 2003
Nosferatu Nights consist of normally Buffy and Angel episodes screened around the bar, with a few excellent music videos thrown in for good measure. There is also a raffle each month with some great prizes on offer and if time allows, a quiz. Announcements for other Sector 14 & Starfury events can usually be heard here first too.
When all the videos have been shown the DJ takes over and 'Party Time' begins. General mayhem (some call it dancing!) ensues, until closing time.
Some choose to 'dress' for the occassion, anything from vampiric teeth and contacts to full costumes.
A lot of Tangent21 members go along to the 'Nos' nights, and usually make a day of it, heading in the afternoon to the 'pre-meet' to meet up with other members and friends for drinks and general silliness. The pre-meets are fairly consistent in time and location, but it's worth checking the Meets forum each month for any changes.
It's a great way to catch up with all your friends, and Tangent21 members are always happy to welcome new people into the fold at the pre-meet, so if you fancy a day of madness come along, say 'Hi' and join us for a great day out!
If anyone is likely to be doing a pre-meet please can you post up the usual "where and times"
As usual post your "yays" or "nays" on below
For anyone hoping to make your first Nos night, if you need any extra information then post below and any of the usual Nos goers are sure to be able to help
Next Nos Dates for the diary are:
October 18th
November 15th
December 20th
Confirmed from the Sector14 website

The September 20th Night is an extended party night, with costume theme, for those who wish to dress up, of School Disco (not entirely original, we know, but Sean seems to like the idea), and the bar remaining open past midnight.

normally people complain there are too many things to do Its fairly evenly spread on the back end of a year as people usually want to save money for xmas
by Milky
...how come we don't have any party things between now and February??
October is T's school disco and a few places have their own halloween parties
November is Lio's Bitten and a few conventions
December is xmas - the month of dodgy train travel
Well excuse for if we close for ONE day of the year - even Mickey D's is closed that day too
I reckon I'll be one of the nobody's this month - feeling a bit astral already!
(sorry about that one!)
(sorry about that one!)
I meant *real* trains - with their snow on the line issues not those tube things

Like the Summer Party, The T-Party, Alton Towers...we should really think about doing Chessington at the end of October/beginning of November..that was a good laugh

(quotes)
What defines 'a party thing' 'cos I know I have *loads* of stuff lined up with people from here.
Conventions??...aren't they a geeks thing ( @ all the con-goers)

and a few conventions
Me & Y were thinking about doing it the day after School Disco, but there is no way I'll be up early after not getting in 'til 3am

That time of year, the queues aren't that bad, so wouldn't necessarily hafta get there too early.
Wasn't last year's Chessington after something late?
Or was that just me sitting up all night chatting to peeps?!?
Either way a good idea!

Jon-Jon is demanding another day to Chessington for his 5th birthday in october. I took him last year with ELC the boy just wont leave it.
this is going off topic now maybe someone should start a themepark trip in october thread or sumfin.

It was after Octo-Nos...cos a group of us stayed at Daryl's and got to be amazed by Y's dramatic changing of lanes to get closer to the Vin poster regardless of the other 2 lanes of traffic *snigger*...twas a fun day.

Well it was their fault for putting them up on Bus Stations
I think that was when I stayed over and I think John, Simon and Rupert came back with us too.

won't be able to make this it's a friends wedding day and i said i'd go ... not that she deserves my presence or presents.
nope wont be at this one, due to it being a school disco theme and paying £5 for that aint worth it...youd have to pay me to go to a shcool disco theme night!
Maybe at the november one tho as i know a few old faces will be there.

The £5 entry fee isn't because it's a school disco theme but because there's an extended licence to 1am.

And who says you have to dress up anyway?
£5 quid to get in?
I can only stay for the afternoon, so I reckon I'm just gonna do the pre-meet.
What time does the pre-meet start?
