Can we just remind people that the deadline for booking the rooms is only 4 weeks away and that time is flying on this.

If you have booked your room and haven't let the staff know your booking reference as soon as humanly possible
If you would like to share with someone, you can advertise for a roomie here.
You must book your room by 17th January 2003. After this date, all unbooked rooms will be cancelled. You may still be able to book a room at the hotel but we cannot guarantee it and it will not be a part of our block booking.
To help with this, please email me with your booking reference number as soon as you have booked your room. This will make cancelling unused rooms much easier for us as the hotel and I will have the same details about rooms that have been reserved. We don't want to be cancelling anybody's room by mistake!

You need a reference number, if you didn't get one you'll have to ring up again and make sure you get one, if you get the girl get her to pass you over to one of the others, they actually know what they're doing...

It seems to me like every hotel has at least one daft receptionist around who's job it is to just mess up things as much as possible...
and when you call they're allways the first to pick up the phone...

Was I the only person who got a decent receptionist? The computers crashed and so she called me back 15 minutes afterwards. We went through everything twice and I've had my reference number on a post-it on my computer desk for months

Yeah mine was ok, he was pretty competent. Didn't understand half of what he said but he seemed ok.
