You won't need a passport to fly pet, just ask Milky about getting to the right Airport, he seems to have issues about that

I'll be training it up there way late on the Friday night with PoF but won't be booking that till the end of January.

I spoke to Spikeo about it and he said there is like a wee train station at the airport that takes you to the station in New Street so i'm probably going to do that. Get in about 6pm on the Friday.

The trains were just too expensive so got a £30 return from BMI. And on their site they gave a list of what is acceptable as ID, and the only thing I have (since no drivers licence) is an expired passport which you can use for up to 2 years, which they will accept. Going to have a good root for my new one though.

I'll be on the Party Train(tm) from london!

Really should think about sorting that actually...anyone interested?

I don't think there'll be a 'way home party train'. I can see there being a 'way home trying hard not to fall asleep but failing train'.

Anyway. Me and mandy have just been searching about trains and on thetrainline.co,uk they have £9.50 saver tickets for the friday on 2 trains, but for the sunday they only have £20 tickets.
Thats 2 singles which are normaly cheaper.

They have a return for £23 pounds. We have decided to leave about 12:45 which is when we went last year and we'll be coming home about the same time (tho i cant remember if the home train is abit later.)

So if anyone wants to join us lets us know, or if people have better ideas or cheaper tickets, let us know. We wont book till the end of the week/next week.

Right, scratch that, we have now ordered our tickets because there aren't many trains that day (cheap ones anyway!)

We have return tickets costing £23.

Friday:

Leaving london at 12:50 arriving in Brum at 14:41

Sunday:

Leaving Brum at 14:15 arriving and 16:43.

Anyone who wants to join i sujest you order quick because the tickets are selling out fast.

And you wouldnt want to miss out of the Train HLA

You will, however, need some form of photographic ID. As it happens I always use my password even for internal flights. But, if you have a photo driving license that will do.

*edit* I should have read a bit further through the post - 'cause it would seem that you already know this. I'm getting old, you know...

I'm driving down from here, already had Sydney asking for car space and *if* I've still got the same car at the time there should be room for another 2. Anyone needing car space from the Preston/Liverpool area?
