Red Dwarf Weekend - 25-26th May

After a recent party at my place, a number of people expressed an interest in having a Red Dwarf Weekend. A marathon watching of every episode of Red Dwarf followed by the "Smeg Ups" and "Smeg Outs" tapes. A grand total of over 29 hours of Red Dwarf!

I have plenty of floor space, some matresses and sleeping bags. I managed to sleep 16 people in a one bedroomed flat... I wonder how many would fit in a two bedroomed house!

OH HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Death by Red Dwarf!

I've also got the Tongue Tied video (which features the music video of the track and also the making of it). I'll bring that up too, which adds another half an hour!

I've just been told that we have the "Tongue-Tied" video.
We also have Seasons 1-3 but the re-mastered versions, and Seasons 6-8.

What we need is the original versions of the first three seasons (because they are funnier), and seasons 4 and 5 and the first episode of season 6.

We have a possible source, but it's borrowing from a friend's parent.

Can't offer vids, i'm afraid, but i'm definately up for this, its been much too long since i've watched Red Dwarf. Sounds fab

Somewhere back at my parents house I've got at least Series 1 and 2 on original non-cgi tape. Plus the rest recorded from the tv, and then switch back to the original tapes for series 5 and 6. However that's as far as I go. Don't have 7 or 8 on tape. But do have Smeg Ups and Smeg Outs too.

Might be able to get them from home at some point in April so could easily provide them for general viewing pleasure.

I have Series 1-5 original (not remastered) eps on BBC video and Series 6 & 7 recorded from TV. Even if I can't make it on the actual weekend (depends on timing) I'm more than happy to loan you the tapes

I have all of series 1-6 and series 8 and also the Red Dwarf X-Tended series 7 thing as well as Smeg Ups/Outs and Toungue Tied (all originals). Any that you need I can bring up (so long as you give me some notice cos they're all in Aberystwyth at the moment).

Well, I'm always up for Some Red Dwarf action.
At Nic's last New Year's, I watched the 'Smeg Ups' 'Smeg Outs' and the 'Tongue Tied' video(not quite what I expected, but funny nonetheless)whilst I was all on my lonesome the day after...or was it the day after that??
Anyhoo. A Red Dwarf vidfest sounds like a VERY good idea.

I'm thinking about setting the date for this at the end of May. This gives me time to hopefully at least have the living room decorated and some of the rest of the house too.

Ok, the exact date I'm thinking about for this Red Dwarf Weekend is 25th and 26th May.

There are cheap tickets through Hull Trains from London for those coming from down that way (bought far enough in advance it's only Â£23 return with railcard).

Plus by that time the lounge and hallway should be decorated
