Pretty much covered I reckon. One thing I'd expect NOT to see is an 'ushered enviroment' or a night that involves planning things.

I didn't put my pennys worth in the last thread but others pretty much summed it up. I go out to be with mates. Be it a gig, a drinking sesh or just a natter. More the merrier I reckon. But it's a shame that people don;t like going to places for various reasons.

Why don't we arrange just a general sesh (or day out like we used to, bowling, cinema whatever) for everyone to attend? Thorpe Park is high on me list this year

Music, dancing and seeing my friends - alcohol is good but as I usually end up driving not too fussed on that!

4 - for Easy Jet to realise they have competition (or soon will) and to reduce their prices. Do you know Monarch was cheaper than Easy Jet to fly into Birmingham? And i got a
free paper, 3 free drinks, free meal and decent service for £15 less!

I'd pretty much agree with that.

The key point to the meet is in the meeting.

My first ever exposure to this group was the 2001 StakeHouse Party and I only went for the evening itself (didn't even stay over). In subsequent years I've gone for the entire weekend, not (no disrespect to VG & Desire) just for the Satuday night party - but also the lazing at the hotel and the pub/club/bowling/shopping part of it. Whatever it is, you'll normally find some others to hang out with and have a laugh.

Equally, though I can't find the time for a NOS night, meeting and catching up with people from here at the Four Star Mary gigs, while only a few hours, has been just as enjoyable.

So, work permitting, I would always consider a "day" meet - be it theme park, concert, or simply congregating in a pub.

Thorpe Park is definetlay and idea for later this year, I agree with Ethan though that it's a shame that there aren't any simple meets that the majority of people will go to..has T21 become clique?? (I hope not)

Geography and timing play a part...conventions take a big chunk out of some people's money (not like there aren't enough other things that do that :/ ) and it's not always possible for everyone to get to the same place *shrug*

I'm the last person I thought would ever say this, but meets outside of London; ie. a bit more central for the majority.
Places such as Brum are just a short (& relatively cheap) train journey away & still have lots to offer - just ONE example. Please don't shoot me

I like the london meets because its easy for me to get to. I think we should do more Not-Nos's Or day things like the Hyde Park meets. I dont go to theme park meets because i dont like rides (shh G ) and i can't aford to pay 30 odd quid to do stand around all day.

I do think that T21 is abit cliquey but not in a bad way. We all mix but still have our close groups. Its silly to think that everyone on this site is going to get on because theres loads of us! But i dont think its hard for people to talk to ateast one person at a meet.

Well thats all i have to say. Part from ONLY A WEEK TO GO! WOOHOOO!!!!
