Paintballing seems to have come up a positive, why not do that, suggest a date(check it doesn't clash with anything using the 'Upcoming Meets' thread and then wait for all of the peeps to register a yay or nay for attendance...also suggest places where people could stay(someone's house is a bonus but a cheap Travel Inn or something similar would probably work)

My one and only paintball experience was completely exhausting but great fun. It can be a bit expensive if you are a bit gung-ho with your ammo.

From my distant memory of commuting to Norwch every weekend (last time was 1997 - so it was a good few years ago), there are a few Travel Inns/Lodges dotted around the city, plus there was a Forte Post House (though, it's likely to have changed hands as many Post Houses did) which used to do a pretty good weekend rate. Plus down the road an eatery called Cactus Jacks which served the best burgers I've ever had!

I've been paintballing a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed myself, although everyone said I looked like an Ewok in the outfit. I'm much more confident with a gun in my hand than a bowling ball (as anyone who's seen my bowling skills will believe!).

The only considerations are costs and the date.

Right then paintballing it is. Will check costs asap and dates too. Have to arrange something more clean and less painful for some of the girlies too

Yeah sounds good to me.

Though as one of the smallest T21'ers I feel obliged to be shot at.

I don't know anything about paintballing, but I've done laserquest etc

I guess we're not just going to be doing paintballing, any ideas for anything else?

you can post the links lol, there is a travel-inn type place on the business park on the way into Norwich, so that's possibly one hotel..

There's a Weatherspoons in the riverside complex along with a UCI, a Hollywood Bowl, Pizza Hut etc as well

The Riverside complex is good, there's Frankie and Benny's, Norweigan Blue, Old Orleans, Hollywood Bowl, UCI, Wetherspoons, Nando's, Time nightclub, and 2 Chinese Restaurants.

People with cars who have finance problems can stay with me. I can probably have a maximum of 5 people stay. Need to check with the old bat though, sorry I mean mother.

Anyone planning on the meet check these hotels out

Still fun but you're less likely to come out of it black & blue (and filthy if it rains!)
