Holiday to Benidorm/Majorca/Tenerife

Was speaking to Dangermouse yesterday about going away for a week on holiday and thought I'd open up the offer.

We're talking about going either the last week in August or the first week in September to one of the above destinations. Everyone is welcome to come along, the more the merrier. I'm going to post this in my journal as well so it's not restricted to T21 people.

I'm looking for a holiday with Sun, Sea, Sangria and Slappers

In other words 7 days of sunbathing(recovery) during the day and 7 nights of drunken debauchery.

So who is up for it? Dates will be confirmed as soon as DM can book his holiday week(I'm sure he said about 4 weeks time)

No can do. Busy saving up spending money for Hawaii on October. Plus I have long weekends in Blackpool & Devon in June & July. Then there's a certain wedding I have to go to in sunny Basildon

I'm all maxed out on holidays 'til next year now (when Mexico sounds rather appealing.....)

Now Florida I would have stretched to. Thing is when I think of Benidorm and Majorca I think of people in union jack shorts (or worse Burberry!!!) vomitting in the streets and flashing their arses & tits at the TV cameras making crap shows about Brits abroad

Not my idea of fun (must be getting old - hee hee)

heyyy Mr Scotsman what happened to Florida? thought peeps were planning to go to Florida in October

Mainly a cost thing...I'd still be up for Florida but I'm not sure if anyone else was? It's cost a fair bit as well whereas a week on the Spanish coast is relativley cheap.

Will be perhaps getting to a beer fest at the end of August though

This place has held one during the August Bank holiday (though the past couple of years it has started on the Weds or Thurs before) for the past 10 years.

That's where you'll find me most of that weekend
