Could you do me a favour and drop me an email?
I'm able to check that much more often than the boards at the moment.

Alton Towers - 23rd October 2004
Alton Towers is back for another year.
This year it's going to be a little different. We're going on Saturday 23rd October. A few people have mentioned to me that this would be a good time to go, because the rides are open later (some until 9pm), there's special Halloween events and there's a fireworks display at the end of the day.
Apart from the date though everything is the same as usual. We've booked rooms in the Holiday Inn Express in Derby (the same hotel as last year), so if you want to stay on one or both nights then you can book through us, rather than having to do it directly with the hotel
Park tickets
These will be £20 (maybe a little bit less if we get a large group).
Hotel Rooms
£50 per room per night for a twin, double or family room (2 adults and up to 2 children)
£60 for a triple room
£70 for a quad room
All include breakfast
As usual there's a roomies thread
For more information and full details of the hotel and how to book, please email me at Rich@jedispringer.co.uk, even if you've already told me that you'd like to go (it's easier if you do that, as I'm cross-posting this in a few places and won't be able to check everywhere for peoples' addresses )
Any other comments, just post them below

If it's anything like the other AT bogof or cheap entry tickets they're not valid for the weekend we're going
by Samphirette
Just spotted a Sun newspaper in a neighbours recycling bin (didn't take long for them to bin it ), looks like they started bogof tokens yesterday. You need 3 out of 5 in total for the offer.
Ah well I can't be sure as the paper I saw only had the first token, not the ins and outs of the deal.
Everyone who has confirmed should have received an email about a change to the payment details today.
If you haven't then drop me an email at Rich@jedispringer.co.uk
If you're still thinking about going but haven't confirmed yet then there's still time! Email me at the above address if you're interested

Has anyone from the London area sorted out their travel up to Alton Towers yet?
Who wants to keep me company on the train going up on the Friday and returning on the Sunday?

As I'm not working now, I'll be going up whenever other peeps are going up.
Is there any times being thought out yet?

I've sent out a reminder email to all of you about payments today (except those of you who I have already spoken to this week).

Alas, as I have already told DJ Billy, I will not be coming to AT after all.
Something about the date was playing on my mind and it wasn't until after I'd put my name down that I realised why that date seemed so familiar to me.
Such is life. Maybe next year.
Have fun without me

There's not long to get your money in now, so if you haven't paid yet I'm afraid I'll need it in the next week or so.
If there are any problems then just give me a shout

Still don't know if i'm able to go or not yet
Tam and I probably aren't gonna be able to come to this either As such if we can make it we'll just have to get our tickets on the door so to speak.
Well i'm now a confirmed 'NO' - can't gett the time off work But then i have had the last 3 weekends off, so can't really complain too much. Hope you all have a wicked time, and tell me all the gossip and room swappers
