Anyway, can we bring our own cds with certain music we may want played then? I know I posted ages ago about my requests and I can't be arsed to read from the top again to see what others have said, but if no ones put these so far I think we need:

OK, here's the deal. Me & DJG (aka Ethan) have it covered.

Anyway, can we bring our own cds with certain music we may want played then?
It's not going to be like previous years where some bozo turns up without a clue of what we like and we have to fight with them to get the kind of stuff we like played.
We've divided the evening into 4 hour long slots - 2 each. G-Man will be covering the rockier end - me the dancier end (though not exclusively). To this end we are working on very tight playlists where one choone leads to the next. We are watching this thread for requests but, no, we will not be taking CDs on the day.
I hope you don't see this is a bad thing as, like I said, we are working hard on it for you. I guarantee you that this will be The Best T-Party Music... EVER! (tm)
Finally, you guys had better be feeling fit cos we're going for a 'All Killer No Filler' approach... and I don't mean we'll only be playing Sum 41

Ah.. I guess I should really point out something.
There were various circumstances that mean myself and Rally are not going to actually be the DJs.
We're still trying to get requests etc, but please understand if this is outwith our control.

Just to clarify, with Ethan's expert help a dj with equipment has been arranged to come along as unfortunately in this instance there was going to be a problem storing any privately taken systems to Derby.
A few people have caught me on msn tonight and I believe (and if I'm wrong I will have to be corrected) that anything requested previously should be included where possible as the music prepared will be used, but Ethan & Rally will now be able to enjoy the music from the punters side of the equipment

Right, I've spent the last hour burning CDs for the DJ to play. I spoke with him tonight and he was open to requests.
I've covered a few of the requests above (The more recent in terms of release ones).
However I'm taking a stack of CDs with me, so worst case is you lot have to put up with my CD collection It won't come to that though....
