T Party - Friday Night Shenanigans
So has anyone come up with a plan for the Friday night then? I've been having a trawl through the net and there are a couple of cool sounding clubs including one which sounds almost exactly like Reflex in Brum. I also remember discussing with Pooks, Rally and DM the possibility of doing Rock City in Nottingham on the Friday night. So whats the plan peeps? Is there a plan? And if not then what do you want to do?

We (Sam, Rich & me) looked into Rock City for after the party on the Saturday. Trains to come home are crap times and a 7 seater mini bus to Notts is approx £35 each way.
Taken from Rock City website for Fridays nights: Love Shack uses all three rooms in Rock City: The main room is host to "Love Shack"the 80s night, playing pop tunes from throughout the 1980s; "Le Freak"is in The Rig keeping all those Disco DivaÂ’s out there happy with a whole night dedicated to 70s Disco; Finally in The Basement thereÂ’s "Shagadelic" playing Classic 60s tracks. You can also expect to see some outrageous costumes and party props, alongside the obligatory free drink at the membership sign up area every Friday Night.
I won't be doing Rock City on the Friday. As long as I'm with my friends I'd rather chat without having to shout to be heard

Spike and I were considering running a Friday night poker game for comic relief, but I have a feeling the main poker playing peeps aren't around until Saturday!

I'm up for anything, karaoke is good, reflex type club is good, Rock City looks really good. Idiosynthetic and I were thinking about driving there and back if he doesn't drink, if this is the case that'd mean there would be 3 spare seats, however maybe it would be easier to stay local.

Any idea how far these places are from the hotel?
Posted: 18:26 Feb 28 2005 Colyear Street is 1.5 miles from the hotel according to the AA routefinder...10 minutes walk or 3 minutes in a taxi.

The mainstream clubs are Destiny & Elite (popularly known as Desperate and Easy) and Zanzibar. These are you classic places for a pint and a fight. Also total meatmarkets so if you want to pull some drunken minger, head here.
