OK, as its getting closer to comic relief I just read in a magazine this is what some of the proceeds can go towards.
£1 in the UK, an information pack to show young people who are being bullied how to get help.
£1 in africa, a medical checkup for a child at a local health clinic.
£10 in the uk, a ngiht of refuge for a woman fleeing domestic violence.
£10 in africa, materials for an HIV/Aids programme teaching children how to protect themselves.
£100 in the UK, An arts workshop to build confidence and skills for 10 homeless young people.
£100 in africa, A secondary school school teachers salary in a rural school in sudan.

Now, 2 years ago we raised about £300 I can't find the thread where it says how much we rasied now :-S Anyway I very much doubt we'd raise as much as that this year, partly cuz nothing has yet been organised or anything. Anyway I just really wanna try and raise some money. I'll donate some money whatever happens anyway but if we all try and raise a bit, even if its only £50, that £50 is really gonna do some good. If it means resisting buying an extra pint at the pub, surely its worth helping people out than getting more hammered right? I havn't got any ideas as how to raise money though this year, though me and Sam were talking about a poker game and we'd try and raise a bit that way, but I dunno if that'd work. Only other idea would be a kissathon but I think its a bit too late to arrange that. Anyway if anyone can think of somethnig easy we can do over the T party weekend to raise a bit of cash for comic relief post here.
