As pubs go, I do like Ben Crouches, but you know, the Admiral is kinda special still don't you think? They have pool tables and jukebox remember. Also if we did do the admial first i might take a quick walk to see what has become of pages. Maybe the admiral, then bens, then steam engine, if thats not too much to cram in could be an idea.

i may not be attending this now seems a friend of mine is moving outta da country and I wanna try real hard to make the leaving party.

Now that I'm a student once more I can't afford to frivolously frequent random bars any more. So yeah, probably. I doubt it'll kill me to be sociable once a year.

I have bad news I'm afraid - I'm skint. This coming off shift malarky is great for freeing up weekends and evenings, but the pay cuts starting to bite. And not in a good way.

Sooooo, after thinking of ways of juggling things so that I can make this weekend, I've decided to do something completely out of character. I'm going to be grown up and face up to the fact I can't afford to go out until Payday, and need to cut down on my spending before I get myself into some serious debt (those who know me best know how good with money I am...). And as such, I'm not going to be able to make this weekend. Instead I will be trying to find out how much fun you can have folding used envolopes and bank statements into amusing shapes.

That or playing Championship Manager - whichever is cheaper...

However, no reason the rest of you can't still meet up. I just ask that you spare a moment to think of me and my self-inflicted exile/poverty as the first karaoke song starts.

So outta curiosity is anyone gonna be there? Not to wanna run out on the few who may be, but if theres only 2 or 3 of us i'll probably wait until May Not Nos
