Korn - Follow the leader....Purely for relaxation mode...
What's in your CD player right now...right now... no don't change it for something cooler !!!
Well?
There's actually nothing in mine right now so I've resorted to MP3s. Currently "Inside Out" live in Salt Lake city - Anthrax.
So come on what's in your CD player right now, or failing that what MP3 are you listening to on your PC right now?

Just found the CD the Prophet made me of the OMWF Mp3s and that's in the PC now - we had David Byrne's 'Look into the Eyeball' earlier, then it would have been REM's 'Reveal' but it was stuck in the quiz cd player so we had Steve Reich instead...so I do listen to music occasionally!!

Yay!!!! I have an ally! We must stick together and fight the oppressors! Unite against the common enemy! (Be wary of the one they call Whistler! )
Oh, by the way .... hello and welcome to Tangent 21!
Yay for quality pop music! There's not nearly enough of it about these days (she says, sounding old)
Thats because you are old, dear

I'm on an eighties Madonna kick cos of you at the moment.
I'm just on a general eighties kick (but actually that's nothing new, my whole life is an eighties kick!). I bought the School Disco album the other day, which has got some quality cheese on it! Though I also bought the new Jon Spencer Blues Explosion album, which is damn fine (in a Twin Peaks cup of coffee type way)!
Ok, I currently have *nothing* in my CD player because I have discovered the joy of Radio Free Virgin on the internet. First time I found it I got hooked on the "Hair Today Gone Tomorrow" Big Hair Rock channel, full of spiffing stuff like Iron Maiden's "The Trooper", Danger Danger's "Bang Bang", Anthrax "I'm The Man" and Def Leppard "Photograph", it's mainly glam, AOR & cock-rock, (Currently playing: W.A.S.P. "Killahead" ) so I love it loads, but the other channels available include:
In Rock We Trust - classic rock
GameGoth - goth & industrial (really? I'd never have guessed...)
Guilt Pleasure - cheesy ballads
KNAC.com - "the hardest radio on the planet"
and all sorts of pop, r'n'b, classical, jazz channels - you should find something you like.
With thanks to Monster: radiofreevirgin.com/ (yep that's right, no www.) and either download the free player thingy, or use the instant 'lite-player' thingy.
Go on, you know you want to...

Am currently trying to kid Radio Free Virgin that my non-Windoze computer is actually running Uncle Bill's Finest so's it'll work, because they don't support us alternative bods - no joy yet, but I have a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a spin doctor...fingers crossed it works!
Okay, can I have another go??
Got some beer in and am chillin' out to Rush 'Chronicles'. Two hours plus of their greatest hits! Geddy Lee can screech with the best of 'em!

Carrying on the eighties theme, I'm listening to Bryan Adams at the mo, which i bought the other day. Actually that's modern compared to the Marc Bolan/T Rex CD I bought at the same time!

I've never quite been able to bring myself to buy the School Disco album, but have some good classic disco compilations. Yay for Chic and Boney M!
Personal CD Player - "Music for Elevators" by Anthony Head and George Sarah. Is that cool ,or what?
It`s an excellent album,I recommend everyone buy it .there`s samples of it at a few places on the web if you want to check it out .
Aiwa Walkman (I like the treble sounds on the Aiwa) - Beethoven.
other walkman- Murray head- "Say it ain`t so".One of my fave albums ever.i call it my holiday album,as i never go on hol without it.It`s the kind of album that you just unwind to,with beautiful melodies and wonderful vocals.whenever I listen to one of the songs,it transports me to a beach in Acapulco, which is great for a miserable day on the IOM
What a lovely suprise to find out a few years ago ,that these two guys with gorgeous voices (Tony and Murray) were brothers.what can i say,i have good taste
