I watched about 20 minutes, but 'Smallville' was on, so I turned over. However, I would rather watch a repeat of a program I've already seen that watch this particular version.

I agree. When will they learn that there's only one Annie, and she's all grown up now, so leave it be!!!

The original was enough of a travesty!

Why do they need to do a remake? Fair enough if the orignal had been bad..but it's amazingly cool.Remakes are generally bad anyway. Have to say i didn't watch it so can't really give my opnion on how it turned out but considering it's on channel 5 and it's fairly new (1999) when ch5 usually only get old/bad films...it doesn't look promising.

Yes I am disgusted Sorry, I saw this post and couldn't resist, the only good thing Annie has ever been used for was when Katherlin Turner in Serial Mom beat a really nasty woman to death, with a breast of beef, to the intro theme of Annie. Now that moment WAS a classic

I used to love Annie, and you're right they shouldn't have a remake. Theres only one Annie

I happen to notice the guy out of 'Alias' (Sky Viewers only) was in it too.

The guy who played Daddy Warbucks was the Ship Designer from Titanic.

I've got to say i watched most of this version and although it wasn't as good as the original, it was a passable copy and gave me an oppurtunity to listen to all those brilliant songs...

My little sister sings them all the time and its so cute.

Annie very funny and a bit cheesy-a good laugh!

Victor Garber is cool. He is in Alias and was Thomas Andrews in Titanic as has already been mentioned. He was in Legally Blonde too.
