Boys SUCK

Ok, I am so angry right now, I really need to rant about this. A few weeks ago I met this guy that my friend really fancies, it was obvious that she liked him too and after several weeks of frustrating silliness (both of them - he'd just been dumped by a friend of her's...), he finally pulled her and asked her out on Friday. So last night, after TWO days, he breaks up with her in the worse possible way, he texted her, when he knew she was babysitting alone and said 'I'd love it if we could just be friends'. ARGH! I'm really angry, just think how she feels. What does he think he's doing messing her about like this? He didn't have to ask her out on Friday! Nobody forced him to, he did it himself. And then suddenly, it's not right, so he has to TEXT her to tell her.

Buffys Alter Ego Glory (to Dawn): I've been meaning to send the Slayer a message. And I could use a little pick-me-up. Two birds, one stone, and boom! You have yummy dead birds.

Texting someone to dump them has to be the most gutless and callous way of doing it!!! (apart from getting a friend to do it). But to be fair it's not just boys that do it. Your friend is obviously better off without him.

I hope your friend is OK.

Buffy's Alter Ego is right, girls really can be just as nasty, if not worse. Yeah that was a really spinless thing to do, but maybe he realised he felt nothing physical for her. In the long run, a quick break-up is better than ending a true relationship.

Take Carter and Susan in ER, they broke-up because there was no chemistry, physically.

I'd say, be there for your friend... simple

And I know what it's like to be dumped like that. I didn't receive a text but I did get a 'Dear John' through the post. And, you're right, it isn't very nice at all.

Miss Corrupt That deaf, dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean pinball!

I got dumped last week by email - same sorta rubbish, can we just be mates, etc.
Boys do suck...though some men are okay I guess

Send *huggles* and love to your friend. Tell her to not get mad, and take her out shopping somewhere so she can buy herself gorge stuff

I'm with T, they can be fun, but they can be spectacularly clueless at times.

Shopping, ice-cream, chocolate, booze, just be around to help your friend do whatever makes her feel better.

*Hugs* to your friend, Yally. That's such a low thing to do to someone! Plus, I think 'let's just be friends' is such a terrible line becasue you never can just be friends can you?

As everyone else has said, take her somewhere that serves ice-cream and booze, get smashed and spend the day ranting about how all men are {insert insult of choice}...
