Having a bad day!
Aaarggghhh!! It's only 10 o'clock and today is just turning out really pants! I have way too much to do because I'm taking over a colleague's job for maternity cover from Monday, but I can't do much because I'll just have to go through it again with my replacement next week, so I'm overworked *and* bored, I'm being bombarded with stupid queries - not really the person who's querying's fault, she's only temping to cover for the woman whose job it really is who fell downstairs and broke her hip...
And to top it all, I had an email from my best friend's partner apologising for forgetting my birthday and saying he should have known that because that's why I'm stealing her tomorrow. Now, I mentioned a shopping trip a few weeks back and she said she'd let me know, I never heard anything and assumed she couldn't make it, so I'd kind of arranged to go to Nos... Now I don't know what to do!! I don't want to miss Nos (especially not as it would be my first anyway)
but I don't want to upset my friend
And I know that part of the reason I'm taking everything so badly is that Tim's assistant is on holiday and we'll have no time together until the 27th - which is a long wait

Posted: 10:46 May 10 2002 *hugs*I hope that your day gets better! That is a bit of a problem about Nos....would it be possible to cut the shopping trip short so you could still make it to Nos ?

oops sorry i only skimmed that and didn't see you won't be at nos. ok you've had a bad day you wanna make up for it tomorrow, what would you prefer nos or shopping? remember nos may not be on again til august and you can go shopping anytime, best jsut to be honest and say i'm really sorry but i arragned to meet up with some friends as i was waiting for you to let me know about the shopping trip for so long, maybe we can go shopping next week. trust me nos is excellent and i'm gonna try and pull this bird so you can see me on the pull

My friend has just rung and apologised for forgetting to confirm the shopping date, and I have managed to rearrange that for next weekend instead - so I can still make it to Nos Fortunately she knows how obsessive I am and as soon as I said it was a Buffy thing she was fine about it!

Bad days suck, and I'm having one
Been to my Grandma's funeral today, cried buckets, and then poceeded to the drinking bit.
Set off to home from Tod to Darwen so we coould set off for nos.
But <edit> happened and half an hour before we were setting off, it was decided we weren't going

Yeah me too, I've had an awful day, and in fact I felt so bad, I cried buckets when I got home. Apparently though, I'm not allowed to feel bad or down about anything, I should be coming to NOS to have a good time and "snap out of it". Apparently I'm being self-pitying.
And apparently Kellys constant cajoling was absolutely nothing to do with the fact she wanted to go herself, and i'm her taxi driver.
