'Course you're right, Peg, but it's more fun to take the mick about each others taste than to admit to the ephemeral and existential nature of musical 'taste'.

On which note I would like to say that Take That and Aqua were way cool, and anyone who disagrees has the cultural taste of a wart hog. With bad BO and a love of Jason Donovan's back catalogue.

However, most of my embarrassing purchases were removed from my collection in the Purge of '92. This included recordings by the likes of Vain, Poison, Little Angels, Extreme and more bad hairdo bad metal bands than I care to remember.

However, I will root through my CD, tape and record collection tonight to see if I can come up with anymore.

Erm i used to have Chers Greatest Hits on Vinyl - But i've had a CD player since i was 10 so i'm not sure if it counts. My most embarressing recent purchase would have to be Hearsay's first album (can't even remember what its called) do'ya know it seemed like such a good idea at the time...

/me thinks that maybe she shouldn't be so keen to buy Willl Youngs album when it comes out on that basis

Just had a flash back to one of my fave bands in the laste eighties - Enuff Z'nuff. *faeces*, I hope that was included back in the purge.
