Is anyone going this weekend? I'm still waiting to see if I've got my freebie ticket (ex boyfriends can be so useful sometimes ) I might have to resort to buying one if not. I've also been told that if I'm going I have to sleep in a tent

Nope, not going. I was very tempted for a while, but it sort of fizzled out


Here's a very short (and guitar orientated) review of the German date borrowed from my guitar site.


Black Label Society - amazing with Zakk and "evil twin" Nick really letting it rip, it was a very short set though, consisting of few tracks from 1919 eternal - so that was rather dissapointing

Drowning Pool - solid new metal, relatively short set, but it got the crowd going

P.O.D - they certainly put on a great show, they sounded good and played all their new stuff

Bad Religion - not really my sort of music, but a good show and people liked it

System of a Down - probably the wildest show, played most of Toxicity and they really got crazy on stage...

Tool - musically great, but in terms of their live show they were the weakest band, they had screens which were set up rather badly and apart from that there was nothing you could hang your eye on - it was essentially like listening to Lateralus.

Ozzy- i was waiting forward to it the whole time and it was worth it, played some songs from Down to Earth, three tracks from Paranoid (!!) - War Pigs, Iron Man and Paranoid, as well as Crazy Train, Suicide Solution, Mama I'm Coming Home and some more songs. The crowd went mad, Zakk had a five minute solo, it was simply amazing.

I REALLY wanted to go to this. I was willing to do anything to get there. But my parents we're going to a wedding on the same day and they'd be no-one to look after carrot (whom typically has fallen ill again ) It seems like a stupid thing but i couldn't leave him alone.


But, now time has passed, i've realised it's best this way. I won't be fit enough to go as i'm still unwell and moshing with a load of people is prolly not the best thing to do with these bad stomach pains

But, since it's my GCSE's next year, i'm DEFINETLY going the year after that - and Ozzy better by around still

Yes i'm going and its gonna rule the Earth. Slayer beckons and their are gonna be so gnarly.

If I'm remembering correctly, you Brits get "The Osbournes" beginning on May 24th--three days away. Whether you're an Ozzie fan or not, everyone should check it out--it's the funniest show EVER on the face of the earth.

Oh, and I think he sings too. Or something.

It was supposed to start last Sunday but got delayed for a week due to "reasons beyond our control"... which seriously hacked me off cos I've been looking forward to this for ages and came home especially to watch it. Oh well, next weekend isn't far away now.

I was really looking forward to the Ozzfest. Me and some mates planned to go a couple of years back, but then we didn't (or maybe that was when it got cancelled, I can't remember). So this year I was all geared up for it, but the line-up is very unimpressive. Apart from Ozzy himself, who very nearly justifies the entrance fee and all the hassle all on his own, who is there? Lost Prophets aren't bad. System of a Down I can cope with. The rest I could quite happily ignore.

Me and Yvonne caught an episode while in L.A. in March and we laughed so much we nearly cried. I have seen the whole series now and each one is a classic (especially loved the ep with the "vagina doctor" and the bubbles LMAO

Oh great! I was wondering whether this was just an American fluke laughing at the funny British man, and wondering whether you Brits would like it. But of course you would--for one thing, you can probably understand the Birmingham accent, which has to be a big advantage.

So many favorite moments, tough to choose. For some reason the scene where he's taken out the garbage, and just can't seem to grasp that he hasn't yet replaced the garbage bags, just cracks me up!

However this has all been resolved and The Osbournes will be on this sunday (26th May) at 10pm - so its only a week late.

Did you know that the doctor in question wasn't a gynocologist at all (doesn't Sharon Osbourne have a wonderful way with words) but a journalist from The Guardian there to negotiate some deal or other. She didn't want MTV to know who he was so he became the *vagina* doctor.

I'm going to Ozzfest!! I've been to the last 2 and wouldn't miss it for the world!!! Ozzy Rocks!!! I'm very exited about it (if you can't tell ). It's gonna be bigger and better than last year!! I love the line up as well. I'm gonna have to stop now before I explode

YAY!!! We have our 3 tickets and we're coming back the same night so I don't have to camp (or drive)

Can't wait to see Ozzy for the 4th time.

It was great

It was cold, wet and muddy but I was drunk so I didn't care. Ozzy was fantastic and his mini movie beforehand was hilarious with him dressing up and singing as Christina Agulara (sp) in the Lady Marmalade video. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it was all over so quickly

That whole paying an extra £8 to get to front of the stage was [edited]. No mention was made of that till we got there. But the music was amazing, Black label society ruled, and so did Mad Capsule Markets. Left before slayer tho, whom i really wanted to see. But i was too tired,wet and muddy and the propect of an 8 hour drive home wasnt that good. so me and my mate hit the road a bit early

I was told that the front bit was free for the first few hundred or so through the gates? I really wanted to go down there, but we had a pretty good spot

I saw the Osbournes when I was in Florida at Easter. It rocked and I missed it last night though. But I'm gonna definetly catch it next week. Ozzy is so funny...

Btw- were Kelly and Jack born in the UK? They sound half American, half English.

You had to have blue wristband, but how you got one, i dont know. It was ace tho, cos me and my mate helped this cool french dude get in by distracting the security tools
