Yay Hannah!!!

Actually sounds alot like Georgia now

Georgia is just over 13 months old, going on 30 I think.

She's cruising round the furniture like theres no tomorrow and actually took two steps on her own the other day, but no more She realises she can still get to stuff quicker by crawling so does that instead - lazy moo

She loves to eat "grown up" food as long as it resembles toast or bread but we're getting there slowly with sandwiches, tuna, pizza fingers, nuggets etc. Its so hard knowing what to give her to eat though. She refuses to drink out of a trainer cup so bottles are still used - any ideas folks?

She now gives kisses on demand (which is so cute) and waves, and slaps, and rubs her hands..... She can say a few words - mum, dad, baba, nana, bruce, woof, shoes, juice, bad boy, boys (and has said a swear word a couple of times - but I can't put it here)

Her temper tantrums are just amazing - she hates being told "NO!" and lets you know about it - she's also slapping you if you tell her off - which resorts in another stern "NO!" and a finger waved near her face which she hates - hehe

On the whole though she loves being with people, loves dancing to music - mainly hip hop or anything with a strong beat

She is a real Daddy's girl and since he left work last week she hasn't left him alone - haha - gives me a break now

I'm still so much in awe and in love with her - its amazing.... She's a real flirt..... hope Ben is ready

Hannah has just started giving kisses too, just to me or her nana at the moment, and the tongue is there whether i want it or not!!! lol! and she's doing the slapping thing too! .. those girls must be sending secret messages to each other i think

Not many words... dada, ta-ta, socks (sounds like sass), plug (sounds like ug), - mama has vanished again, unless it is extremely early in the morning and she doesn't want to sleep any more.. then it's at 1000 decibels... she's also very, very noisy, and shouts a lot!!!.. she also likes me to copy her sounds too.

Her favourite playmate is her brother.. he can get her out of a bad mood like no one can.

And yep, Hannah is definitely a daddy's girl too and she's practising with the flirting too...

*Ben crawls up swiftly at the mention of girls*

The girls both sound like they're doing wonderfully. And they sound a lot like Ben in lots of ways.

He was 1 on the 4th of this month, and was christened the week after which has kept the in-laws and husband happy. He enjoyed his birthday, got right into the swing of tearing wrapping paper off, but naturally played more with the paper than with the toys *sigh* lol

He's at nursery practically full time now, and loving it still. He's almost walking, he can get across the gap between the sofas, but he often forgets what he's doing half way across and falls on his bum. He can cruise though, and like Georgia is much faster crawling. He's definitely right handed, even if he picks something up in his left he transfers it to his right. He feeds himself pretty much all the time now, except when it's something liquidy, in which case we have to get the spoon and help him along. He loves - adores - can't get enough of - Sunday roasts, it's nice to sit down as a family and all have a plate of dinner. Except he eats everything in colour batches, i.e. all the carrot, all the sweetcorn, all the green, rather than a bit of something different. Salads are a nightmare, by the time he gets to the green stuff he's bored and full up, so lettuce ends up all over the floor He's drinking much more out of a beaker since he went to nursery; I think it's just perseverance Jola, perhaps if you do it in front of Georgia, she'll get the message. Ben started because all the other kids were and he didn't want to be the only one being fed from a bottle. (Kids love being part of the crowd).

He's got some words; daddy, mummeeeeee NO is a favourite; bird, shoe; he does the slapping, the waving, the kissing, except he keeps biting my bottom lip with all 8 of his teeth. He sleeps 12 hours most nights, so he's a dream. He's still generally such a happy little man, and he's so handsome.

One of these days I'll get a picture posted.

How about the other ickle T21ers?

Awwwwww sounds like all the ickle T21'rs are doing great (but then how possible couldnt they with such lovely parents, and all their T21 aunts and Uncles)

James is now 16 months old and well just no longer a baby, he walks everywhere , although loves to go in his buggy.I'm sure he is gonna be a pop star because from morning to night whenever there is music anywhere he starts singing and dancing.
He really is such a happy child, although he starting to learn that crying works when mummy says the dreaded "No" word to him

It's great to hear all are doing so well...We def need to think of doing this baby meet, these kids would have a great time now the ages they are

i can sorta write in these now coz i'm gonna be an uncle ok well not a lot to write as my sister isn't due until late september, early october but everythings ok so far, shes due for a scan next week i think so can't wait to see the pictures

LOL Ah yes, but we deliberately don't talk about the sheer,unrelenting hard work... or the fits of grizzling when you have no idea what's wrong, and can't fix it (and probably they don't know either)... or the massive shifts babies cause in your relationships with practically everyone you know... or the mess.... or the expense... as for labour horror stories, just *don't* go there

And funny how none of the above matters when you get the beaming smiles and 'mummeeeeee' and cuddles and *sniffle* getting carried away again...

Well if anyone wants a babysitter, I'm mostly always free Saturday nights, that is if you don't mind driving to Norwich to pick me up.

I had my 2 pretty close together (22 months) and it's reaping it's rewards now - coz they are really good friends and play well together - but it was pretty tough at first (2 in nappies, and especially when Nicole got chicken-pox when Katie was 6 weeks old, oh yeah - and my ex-husband in his infinite wisdom decided to rip the living room ceiling down at the same time! )

It's great to hear how well all the other T21 babies are doing!
Emily is now 7 months old. She's sitting brilliantly, and in fact refuses to lie down now! No signs of crawling yet - she's a lazy little madam and screams when a toy she's playing with goes out of reach, making no attempt to move herself! She bounces like a little Tigger and has started to eat quite well again. She's started waving and clapping and I swear she said "ted ted" when I gave her teddy this morning. She hates being ignored and makes her displeasure loudly known if I so much as try to read the paper!

Oh, and she's now decided to wake up each morning at 5 o'clock!!! Aargh!!!! There's nothing i can do to persuade her that it's still the middle of the night and she doesn't go back to sleep until about 9.

But apart from that, I'm loving the whole motherhood thing again at the moment. No teeth yet, though, so ask me again when she starts teething...

Well, Hannah had her hospital appointment this morning. She's only gained a pound in weight, so now she's 23lbs 12 oz (i swear she feels heavier, but hey, you can't argue with the scales).. and after an initial bout of shyness was full of smiles for her doctor and his assistant and she behaved beautifully for them. She's bang on target weight, health and developmentally wise for a one year old baby and she's back there in November for her 18 month checks

And you know, the fascination with jewellery must be a girlie thing, as Hannah loves it too, she loves my rings as well as my necklace whereas Joel never showed any interest at all...

I'm with Sydney on the broody!! But I have a few years to go yet...
