Well I've seen and thoroughly enjoyed the film, but didn't take much notice of the soundtrack. I though Danny Elfman's orchestral score was typically good, although too reminiscent of his work on Tim Burton's BATMAN film.

I still think the best movie soundtrack belongs to "The Matrix"

I haven't seen who's on the rest of the soundtrack - I'll wait till I've seen the film before deciding to buy it

I've not seen the film yet, however I've heard samples of the tracks and must say that it is very high on my list of CD wants. It's only a tenner in Tower Records too From what I can gather, it's fairly kinda 'rock' minded (Ok, thats a broad span), but it's all good seeing as thats how I like my music anyway...

It's got songs by Chad Kroeger (Nickelback), Sum 41, Alien Ant Farm, The Strokes, Black Lab and The Hives to name but a few

Well worth getting IMO

I loke the hero one but I hate the sum41 one its a bit too rap for me.

the sum 41 one is a remake of a really old song by them which was just meant to be taking the mick out of rap (as far as i am aware) and the first version of it seemed much more powerful i think, anyone else who'd know about this agree with me?

Ive seen the Sum 41 track on MTV a couple of times and I think it's wicked. Don't know about it's origin though. And the Nickleback-guy one is cool too. Haven't heard the rest of the album, but with The Strokes, The Hives and Aerosmith doing a cover of the Spiderman theme (if I've been correctly informed) it sounds very, very cool!

I got the Ost the day it was released and i think it's great. i love the Aerosmith version of the old Spidey theme tune.
