If shes mean to Spencer once more I`m going to go down there and...I dont know, do something mean!!!!! LOL
Doubleplusgood? (Big Brother 3.....)
With Big Brother 3 starting tonight I just wondered who else would be watching it for the next few weeks? What are your views on it, and other 'reality' type TV programmes?
Are they a good thing? Is there something inherently wrong with the viewing public being fascinated with voyeurism? Has the novelty now worn off now that our TV seems to be saturated with these shows?
Personally, I can't wait and plan to watch as much as possible of it as I've never watched one from the beginning before. But I've only had a passing interest in the likes of 'Survivor'.
Over to you.....

I don't know what to do now tat Sunita's gone. I saw voting someone off as an Armand-like act of mercy, and 'Nita was the only one I felt ANY compasson for. Really can't be bothered to vote now
Nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah nah, hey-ey-ey, goodbye!!
One down (good riddance to Lynne), 10 to go (once the new housemate gets in)
My new fave to win? Spencer

OK I've not seen any of tonights episodes, but I know what happened (thanks Sydney!). I'm glad Lynne's gone. I thought she was OK at the start, but she was really starting to urinate me off as it went through.
I've been wondering if the peopel who gave Lynne such a hard time on Friday were actual viewers or just the usual drunks who turn up if ther's a chance of aggroThoughts?

Whoever they were, they were a bunch of idiots - seemed to have forgotten it was a human being (albiet a somewhat stroppy when drunk one!) coming out. I thought Lynne conducted herself very well with all that going on.

How do people get in there anyway? Is it by ticket only or can anyone turn up? Anyone know?

Peeps, can you all please watch your language on this thread, we've had to make a *LOT* of edits, a lot higher than usual.
If it gets out of hand this thread will be closed.
We now return to normal programming
Was watching in on C4 last night and a notice came up saying the sound had been cut for "legal reasons".
What was all that about then?
What was all that about then?
There are certain things that can't be broadcast for "legal reasons" generally its stuff like housemates confessing to illegal activities or anything that could be libelous to peole on the outside. I think there are restrictions placed on branding as well - you may have noticed that most of the food is supermarket own brand or that the brands have been disguised e.g. the sweets being put into a glass jar instead of being brought in in their own packaging. So if they begin to talk about some form of brand stuff that has been in contact with them saying - do not mention our name - they have to cut it.

BB has about 5 lawyers on shift watching all the footage to make sure that they dodn't get into deep legal doodoo. They probably weren't talking about anything that juicy but they do tend to cover their own butts just in case
/me skulks off because she knows far too much about the ins and outs of BB and needs to get a life
Okay so Sophie has arrived in the BB house and can I just say MMmmmmm . Looks like Kate & Spencer are getting close although you can see a split forming in the house with one group consisting of Alex, Lee, Adele & Sandy and the other containg Spencer, Kate, Alison, Jonny & PJ. Jade seems to be flitting between both groups though although she does seem to get on better with Spencer's group.
So who do we think will be nominated this week...I can see it being Alex & Sandy although Kate might end up getting nominated alot as well.
Opinions please

Thought it was just the BBC that can't have branding.

Definitely Alex as Jonny, Alison, Kate and PJ will all vote for him, and although I find him really entertaining and amusing I hope he goes because the poor lad is cracking up in there.

Probably will be Sandy too as he keeps himself to himself and is an easy option. Although I think Adele and Lee will go for Alison and Kate, and Alex is going to be torn between Alison, Jonny and Spencer. As Jade will probably go for Alison as well, she could be up for nomination.
(Stoo - apologies for whatever it was you had to edit in my post, it didn't register with me when I was writing it that I was using bad language - sorry. )
It's by ticket only. I don't know how you get tickets but a friend of mine managed to get some for last year's final. I was very jealous.

Okay well Nominations were announced last night and Alex, Alison & Sandy are all up for eviction...so who do you want to go and why??
Personally I'd like Alison to be evicted as I think she's so fake, she moans about everyone to Kate and I'd prefer Alex & Sandy to stay so that we could see more tension develop in the house...
Theorys people?

Although it would be a highly hilarious form of torture for Alex to remain in the house i can't stand him so that's where my vote went. Having said that after listening to Sandy's reasons for nominations it was a fine cut thing. I like Alison she's no more mouthy than Kate or Jade. Jade in particular is awful:

"JADE has already voiced her opinion of new girl Sophie.
Kate started the whole thing off when she brought up the subject of Sophie during a chat with Adele and Jade on the sofa.
"She's got a nice figure," Kate told the girls. Did you see her in her pyjamas last night?" she added, making the shape of an hourglass with her hands to illustrate her point, "she was just... big legs."
Adele agreed with Kate, but it was Jade who took it further. "She's got a nice figure," she told Kate, "but I don't think her face...I think you're better than her."
As the girls sniggered at Jade's comment, Jade continued, "I'm such a {edit}, ain't I?"
All astonishing stuff given Jade's previously stated convictions that Kate "isn't all that," and was a "flirt" with "{edit}up teeth" who, in her picture next to her bed, looked like "a {edit} dog!"
Make you mind up Jade..."
can't say I've heard Alison being quite that nasty yet! And as for fake - Jade's the culprit yet again with her crying.
They really are mostly as bad as each other on the sniping front. I can't see many of them remaining friends after its all over can you? Makes Narinder and Helens "Crappy cuts" fight look rather tame doesn't it
p.s. i think i removed all the swearing from the BB story. please don't shoot me if i've missed anything

I find all 3 of them entertaining so I'm not going to vote this week.
If only it was PJ - I was looking at the official site at lunchtime and there are several stories on the news area about how attractive he thinks women find him. That would be why he's last in the popularity poll I suppose? Amazing.
I think Sandy will be the one that goes. It'll be interesting to see how Alex copes next week without him.

Actually, I think Alex and Sandy make the show quite interesting at the moment. They are not being fake and they are saying how they feel. To be honest, if I was trapped in the house with some of the others, I would be getting quite hacked off!
I'm going to vote for Alison. She is very fake, too 'in yer face' and I can't stand her accent!!
Probably not a good enough reason if I was in the house but it works for me.

Found this on the BB site and it made me laugh
Spencer: "You know you see those people in Venice standing on the back of gondolas, pushing it around?"
Jade: "They don't do that on the Thames though, do they?"
Spencer: "No. I don't work on the Thames. I work in Cambridge."
Jade: "Is there not the Thames there?"
Spencer: "No!"
Jade: "Is there a river called the Cambridge river?"
Spencer: "Yeah, it's called the Cam."
Jade: "Really? You swear? I only thought there was the Thames. I thought that was the main one in London."
Spencer: "It is. I don't live in London."
Jade: "I'm confused. I thought Cambridge was in London. I knew Birmingham weren't in London."
Spencer: "Would you like to go and tell the group what you just said?"
Jade: "No..."
Spencer: "Cambridge is a city."
Jade: "But we've got a city in London."
Spencer: "Yes. This city is called London. And there's different parts of it. Cambridge is a city."
Jade: "Of where? Kent?"
Jade: "Well England's a country, London's a city, Bermondsey's just a throw-off. Now where are you? What's your country, and what's your things?"
Spencer: "What country am I from? England. The city is called Cambridge, the county Cambridgeshire."
Jade: "So not Kent then?"
Spencer: "Nooooo.... The region is called East Anglia."
Jade: "East Angular? That's abroad. Is there not a place called East Angular abroad?"
Spencer: "Jade, have you been taking the stupid pills again?"
Jade: "Every time people tell me they work in East Angular, I actually think they're talking about near Tunisia and places like that. Am I thick?"
Spencer: "Well, I hate to say it, but you are."
Jade: "Cos Scottish and Irish and all that comes under England, doesn't it?"
Spencer: "No... They come under Great Britain. Scotland and Wales have their own flags. Northern Ireland and Ireland are different."
Jade: "So they're not together? Where's Berlin?"
Spencer: "Germany..."

ROFLMAO!!!!
I really hope Sandy stays. He's a dude. Apart from tonights episode I've missed loads of them though, so I haven't seen any of the fights and arguments that have been going on. Alison I also think is quite fun. Alex I don't really dislike, but he's my least favourite of the three, so I hope he goes.
Oh, and tomorrows episode should be cool. It's Jade's 21st and they all dress up in School uniforms and party the night away. Now what does that remind me of ....
