I've never been, but one of my boyfriend's mate moved there to be with his girlfriend, and he loves it.

I've seen some of his photos of the place and it looks beautiful

Yep. Mostly in Stockholm and surrounds (but been as far afield as Gothenburg and Kiruna) as my father was posted there in the late 80s and it was convenient to fly in and visit. Really liked it, winters could get a tad chilly though but absolutely gorgeous in the Summer. Last time I was there was about 2 years ago - I was working in Helsinki and flew in to visit a friend for the weekend instead of the usual flight back to London.

I spent a few weeks in Sweden (Stockholm) last year training for a new job, and I absolutely adored it.
Clean, safe, reasonably priced - lunch including bread, salad, cold drink and coffee for less than £5! All the people I met were very polite and friendly. Excellent public transport.

The old part of Stockholm is absolutely gorgeous, spent quite a long time walking around taking photos and just looking around.

I'd love to go back sometime.
