Help! My emails have been deleted from my email account!
Yep all my emails have been deleted from my account but my address book is still intact!
Anyone had this happen to them?

Not exactly. I know Teresa has had things disappear. The other week we both had to keep changing our passwords via the security question, because our passwords kept coming back wrong. We changed our security questions and it hasn't happened again since.

If this hotmail or similar or on Outlook Express?
If it's Outlook i suggest checking Deleted Items (dont mean to be patronising, it's the only thing i know how to do).
I did once have random e-mails go missing from outlook 'cos of a virus but i couldnt get them back.
If it's Hotmail (IE web based) and u've read the messages try the temp folder, they should bring up a list of recently viewed wep pages. (click - My computer, c drive, windows, show files, temp)
If none of this applies or works do this in this order.
1) pray
2) read manual
3) try manuals suggestions.
4) when they dont work, shout.
5) try the help function and repeat setps 3 & 4
6) Hit computer (mallet not recomended)
7) call pooter names
8) fight with someone 'cos your upset at the pooter. it's not their fault but it eases stress.
9) give up, go home, have a drink.
10) call a computer engineer in who can do everything in 5 mins and will make you feel a complete fool.

Just a thought - If it's Hotmail and you haven't logged in for a month they'll delete all your mail

thanks for your help so far. I think something called an 'outrage' may have happend which means that it will be restored by Go sooner or later.

Luckily I've had no problems with hotmail - but then I hardly use it for anything other than msn - don't exactly get the most enlighting mails that way
