Luckily I have a prize (fun, NOT) which means I have to go to speech day to get awarded my books and sit in a hot marquee-tent thing for hours and listen to dull speeches.
Not my idea of fun!
Just hope I don't fall over or do somthing stupid when I go to get my prize...

Sydney You can lead the whore to culture but you can't make her think!
You think this is bad - wait til graduation day at uni. you have to shake peoples hands and not fall over all in a silly gown and hat. my best mate at uni kissed the award presenters !?! And it was all on video for prosperity

Good Luck !!!
I hope it goes OK...I'm sure you won't fall over or anything. I remember feeling really nervous when I had to go up and get my prize...very nervewracking !!!

thanks! It didn't fall over or anything!
However sitting in a hot tent watching the Junior school sing and act out Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory and the Senior school doing 'Bugsy Malone' was a tad dull. The girls in Bugsy were dancing in skimpy tight costumes and one girl sat on the Chairman of Governers lap as part of the routine and he got all flustered and red in the face. Disgusting!
Rae Your imitation of my walk, and the perfect way you talk. It's just a couple of the million things, that i love about you.
ok ew to that last post
i'm so glad my school doesn't do anything like this A celebration of success once a year is quite enough and luckily i've discovered if you just avoid all eye contact with the teahcers they don't expect you do anything.
