Fortunately my music radio station of choice (Radio 1) don't play any Will Young or Gareth Gates.

Currently getting just a little bit sick of Puddle of Mudd, though..

Can't think of a song right now, but I have to say that Sara Cox's voice is enough to make me turn the radio off. Well, actually it makes me want to take a hammer to my radio and smash it into tiny little pieces, then stamp on all the little pieces and squish em all up.

Don't think I like her much...

Oh god. Sara Cox gets on my nerves, its a breath of fresh air when Scott Mills takes over for the morning. I personally hate DB boulevard (is that the name) and Beverly Knight!! Aaah! Drives me crazy.

Got another one, all of Sophie Ellis Bextor's things (cant really call 'em songs can u).

On the radio at work they tend to play a lot of Travis. And it's getting on my wick!

Pretty much everything on Radio 1. When you have the radio on a lot during the day, it makes you realise just how much everything is constantly repeated - their playlist is soooo restricted.
Quite like Puddle of Mudd, though, but that's another thread....

Thanks to MTV2 and my ongoing ban of Radio 1/local radio I get to avoid all the really annoying songs, so the only time I get really wound up is when Andrew WK is on. For the few seconds before I switch him off, that is...

I actually find myself tapping my toe to these .. quite catchy but not as irritating as some of the pop out there! The Will Young - Light my Fire is annoying although I suppose to be fair he has jigged the song around a bit and not done a straight cover. I'm still in the habit of turning anything off by Britney Spears as her voice goes through my head!

Although I tend to listen to the local radio station when I'm driving to and from work and in the 10 minutes it takes me to get there and back you normally only get 1 song cause the rest is full of traffic reports etc as its rush-hour

So I've now taken to using the cd player. Then I don't worry about listening to things I don't like and can concentrate on what I do

I'd have to agree with Ethan and Monster, Travis are constantly playing on my local radio station and all their songs are the same

I quite like Shakira though, her songs are really catchy so I can understand why people get fed up with her.

I don't like the stuff on the radio pretty much at all, so I just don't listen to it. However, I was watching TRL (which I don't normally do, I can't stand it), cos Tony Hawk was on it and that song by Shakira came on- now that was truly awful.

Luckily I haven't been subjected to the horror of Will Young or Gareth Gates. I think I'd curl up into a ball forever.

Yeah, I think I'm just gonna stick to my Boxcar Racer CD- can't go wrong there.

Now i happen to like Will Young, and i like his voice.. (and it saddens me that because he's so popular that it's fashionable to knock him).. but he's absolutely ruined that song.. which i happen to love....

The one that annoys me is the S Club Juniors one, don't know the title, i just know when i hear it, i reach for the "off" button

Something I did hear that was *truly awful* was her live rendition of the song on Top of the Pops .... argggggh

I saw that!.. one of the rare occasions that i remember to watch it... she had no make up on, wore big dark glasses and she sounded horrible.. not a good live singer unfortunately..
