Thats what it was like when i started working at Sainsburies (for 2 weeks) it was so cobblers that it wasnt worth it just for the money. Still when i left i got a bumper pay check of £200 odd. not bad for 20 hours work
new job
so i've started this new recycling collector job but its awful. have to collect bottles and newspapers in trolleys and put them on this lorry. thing is after a few hours of pulling them up stairs they're reaslly heavy and awkward and your feet and amrs start to kill. also the weather, if its hot you'll sweat i was sweating like amd today and it was cold and raining and the rain made my haves go wrinkly. and on top of all this i have to then start work and carry on with my cleaning job in the evenings, i think i'll give the recyling one upo in a few weeks as i'm only temporary for the 1st few weeks incase i don't get on too well with it, which i'm really not. not my back hurts and all my joints and i'm so so tired at least tongiht i'll only do an hours work and the other 3 i'll sit down and read or something.

NOT!
Well you have to be grateful for one thing - you have yourself a job! Stick it out - it may not be that bad.
I know a few people who'd be grateful toearn some money no matter what its doing

D'oh! Sorry to hear that your new job sucks. If you want a bright side to look on, after a few weeks of lugging all that heavy stuff around, imagine the pecs and the six-pack that you'll build up! This job could be the beginnings of Spike Schwarzenegger!
Actually that sounds like 2 jobs to me

Try sticking it out Spike, I assume that the money will come in handy. If the job is really causing you a lot of pain then perhaps talk to your employers as maybe you are not lifting things in the correct way.
Awww, Spike. As with all new things, you need to get settled in and get used to it. It can only get better, and just think of all the money. If you still hate your job after a few weeks, keep hold of it and dont quit until you've got a better one
Good Luck mate
Good Luck mate
after today i give up, thats why it was so easy to get it, over 40 odd dustmen and other manuel workers quit and went bacvk to their old jobs after tryinbg recycling coz they couldn't hack it. its maainly coz i almost lost an arm on a sheet of glass today and then a piece went in my eye and i think its still there, i think i'm supposed to go to the hospital but i don't wanna waist my afternoon. yeah so i give up i can't have 2 jobs, its way too much to do. i'm too lazy to work this hard as its real hard work.
Spike if you have glass in your eye you go to hospital whether you think its wasting an afternoon or not. Get your bum over there NOW!!!
THERE IS GLASS IN THERE, JSUT SAW IT, TRIED TO GET IT OUT WITH MY MUMS HELP BUT NOT SURE IF WE DID. MAY GO TO THE HOSPITAL WHEN MY DAD GETS HOME, OK SO I GET A NGIHT OFF WORK BUT I HAVE A THING ABOUT EYES, CAN'T BEAR ANYONE TO TOUCH THEM
I will say it again - GET YOUR BACKSIDE TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!
If there's an eye hospital near you then go there rather than to casualty as they are better equiped to deal with it. Lets face it Spike, its better to have someone proding at your eye fro a few minutes than to go blind isn't it? Have you thought that the glass was probably dirty so you'll have a nice infection building up in there too as well as the damage the glass itself will be doing?

And, let's face it, Spike, Charisma and all the other 'fit birds' at Eclipse are hardly going to be impressed by your boyish good looks if you've got a swollen eye are they?
On second thoughts, maybe they might

If you're still around Spike, they may deal with an eye problem quickly, but bring some provisions just in case cause it can take hours waiting to be seen...
Hope its not causing to much pain hun , better to go to your local eye hosiptal if you have one though , you'll robably get seen sooner and as Syd said they are better equiped. Normaly the first thing they do is pop drops in that take away all the pain, then they pop the dye in so everything shows up, it makes your eye bright yellow for days

Sounds nasty. Hope you get it all sorted out and it doesn't cause you any discomfort. And good luck with the cool 'Yellow Eye' look!
