1 The BBC's advertising for the World Cup not only knocks ITV's for six, but is also one of the coolest ads currently on TV.
2 ITV have been using Gazza, Graham Taylor and Judas Hesslebaink as commentators/pundits - and they blow.

4 Lynam vs Lineker - Who'd have thought Gary would have won that one? But our Des has gone seriously downhill since moving to ITV. He's lost his touch, whereas Gary has grown into that anchor role.
The BBC's coverage has been by far and away the best. I won't be boycotting ITV, I'll just be watching who has the best coverage - which is just good sense, really.
Plus, those of us with NTL cable TV have access to BBC Sport, on channels 997, 998 and 999, which repeat the games in full later in the day, have interviews with the England squad, replays of England games of yore, and more besides.
BBC Rule (bring back Match of The Day)!
