Tangent21 Sci-Fi World Cup!

We are announcing the first official Tangent 21 Sci-fi World Cup Competition!

Do you know your scifi trivia, or just really good at guessing? Well there's only one way to find out.

As they say its agame of two halves, 45 mins of scifi trivia, a 15 min break and another 45, just like
that game with the ball, you know the one...

The place? Our #Trivia room. The time? Rounds will take place in the week of 1-6th July, at 8pm with the winner of each round going through to the final held on SUNDAY July 7th.

Post here if you are interested, mention any day you cant make and we'll contact you to let you know what day your first game is.

(For those worried about such things there will be no Sky Buffy/Angel spoilers, but light knowledge of others non-BBC series may come in handy)

NOTE:In case of the finalists doing Nos/Caritas it maybe possible to rearrange a suitable time to complete the game

Can you elaborate on the format a little?

Each person asked a different question in turn, or everyone gets the same questions? All the questions at the start & then 45 minutes to respond? Or a question's asked and you have a minute or two to respond before the next one?

Sange It's only kinky the first time!!! after that it's just the Norm ;o)

Callum , at the moment with have trivia running in the tangent21 trivia room .. its #Trivia ... it will run the same as that but will be all scfi questions.

Basically everyone will get to answer all the questions , the first person to get it right will score the points and then the winner of that nights round will go through to te final .. the questions will run continuously for 45 mins , then we will have a 15 min break ( for coffee , beer , reconnections etc ) and then another 45 mins of questions

Well, I think it'll be a fabulous idea so I'll register my support in the hope that there will be more of these. Unfortunately I'll be in a cottage in the middle of Burgandy when the finals are on so I can't compete

I don't think the parents would be too impressed if I took the Slaptop on holiday with me

Thursday will cut into my kicking of Milky's heiny at pool, but I can postpone that if need be
