Am I the only person who's never had a problems with NTL??

I don't use them for my net connection, but a friend of mine has their broadband & has never had a problems with that either...

One untroubled NTL dial-up user here.

One VERY troubled NTL user here! They suck as far as I count. We always have net problems with them and they disconnect after 2 hrs. Grrr at them. They're really unhelpful on the phone and we always have line problems which they NEVER fix! Hmph.

Just got NTL broadband and, other than a glitch the other week where the server went down cos of the storms, I've had no problems.

Actually they haven't been too bad with me recently but my whole opinion of them suck big time anyway

I ordered an NTL disk and went with Freeserve while I was waiting for it to arrive. It eventually came after three months so I just stuck with Freeserve!

well tis been 24 hours and lycos and ebay still won't work and i have a bill to pay on ebay, anyone know what the possible cause is? its bound to be ntl is they are the only pages that won't work and other people get on them fine.

Have you checked the NTL website to see if there is a known faul in your area?

Also NTL suck bug time. And not in a nice way. Phone lines, dial ups, TV, they can't get any of it right, never follow up what they say they will and are criminally awful. But what can you do?

ok its working now, but loads of other people had problems who live in the same region.

I'd never had problems with my dial-up service - nothing that particularly annoyed me anyway. I usually found that pages not loading up where normally just refreshing or cookie problems and I guess it just depends how much patience you have.

But I did get broadband installed the other Friday and on the Tuesday it wasn't working at all with no explanation - it wasn't until halfway through the day that they started admitting their were server problems (I assume this was the same thing)

But its all working fine again now

Now NPower is another matter in our house!
