Me! I have a tattoo!

It's a celtic dragon design, in black, on my left arm, just below the shoulder and it was Mamf that gave me the design (cheers, hun ) I got it done last September and I'd always wanted one done but never had the money or nerves at the same time to do it.

And I haven't regretted it yet.

And, when I have the money again, I want to get another one on my right arm, but slightly bigger this time. Just not sure what I want yet.

I have one and a half tattoos (ones nearly gone now due to removal treatments). A blue rose on my upper arm, which now looks a bit like a bruise and a dolphin on my ankle.

I was 16 when I got them done, and I hate them both! And yes I regret it alot

That doesn't mean I dont like tattoos though. I would still have one but on my back or something and a different design (obviously!)

I think the age limit of having one done should be put up to 21.

I've got a little heart with a bow round it on my right hip - will get Georgia's name and date of birth put around it at some point

I want to get another one done, but not sure what yet.

Len on the other hand has a band around his arm and a chinease symbol on his chest. He wants to get mine and Georgia's names put over his heart in the Japanese spelling and the Gaijin Ryu club symbol (our martial art school) right across his back

I have a tattoo on my right upper arm, I had it done years ago, when I was going through a very 'floydie' era. I had the Pink Floyd symbol tattoed. No, I have never regretted it, I still love it as much now as i did then, because it was done freehand, and the tattoist liked the design so much, that he did the colouring in for free.

I don't have a tattoo as of yet cause i've never had the money and i'm only just old enough realy to have one done!! but i've wanted one since I can remember so a lot of thought has gone into it!! I also wanted it to represent a stage in my life and now that i've left college and i'm gonna be moving away to uni later in the year I think it's an appropriate time, a new stage in my life and all that!! i've seen this one--> www.amybrownart.com/images1/tat2s/fire.jpg

as for finding pictures of tattoos on the net I used google image search, it was quite good!!

I'm one of those people who like tattoos, but aren't brave enough to get one done as i'm needle phobic. My brother has a few on both his upper arms, the barbed wire band around his arm, a wolf howling at the moon and something tribal and flame coloured. If i were brave enough it would be either something Angel-related or something to do with my hubby and kids

At present i have two both on my upper left arm, the first is a celtic knot and the second is the name of my son and his birth date underneath it. I plan to have more, i want an arsenal badge on my right calf muscle, the three lions of england and a st georges cross on my left calf muscle, and the name of my next son or daughter and their birth date under my sons name and birth date

If you are gonna get one done, try and make sure that it is individual to you and you only, i know that my tats are both original as i designed them myself, the one you like someone else has already, be original draw it yourself then speak to the tatooist about it and tell them what you really want it to be like, otherwise you will only regret it after and by then its too late

Not necessarily. Evil Willow and I have matching tatoos. The chinese symbol for Faith on the lower back. Its my faveourite.

I have another one though, its the japanese for 'Courage' and is smaller than the other one. Its to the right of my lager one but lower. I'm getting another to balance it out and that will be the last one. Going for 'Justice' in japanese on the left side.

I like them because they are easily covered if i dont want them on show.

I did realise that this was sombody elses tattoo, I did however like the style of it, I've tried to design my own, (but they didn't go well) as I really don't want a cliche one that everybody will have!! I thought about modifying (not quite sure how) the one in the link!! If you've got any suggestions or anybody wants to design me one in a similar style to the other one, could you e-mail me please, I'd be very apperciative!! Thanks!!

Yes I have, but not knowing what I want makes it tricky to start Right now, I'm looking for inspiration and it's hiding.

I currently don't have any tattoos. I do think they can be very cool though, so I have considered getting one. Trouble is that (a) I'm chicken and it hurts! (b) I want to be absotively posolutely sure that I'll always like whatever I get, and I don't have a clue what I want. I also can't draw for toffee so designing my own is out of the question. One thing I know is that it would be a fairly ickle one. I'm not keen on big tattoos, but small ones can look very cool.

I don't have one for two reasons- firstly I'm a pretty changeable person anyway so I don't like the idea of being marked with something which wouldn't be relevant to me in a few years' time. Secondly, I want to lose weight so the last thing I want to be carrying around is a saggy tattoo.

I can't think of anything I'd want as a subject either- I don't really think I'm an easy person to sum up.

I want one, but like a few other people, I'm scared <edit>less of the pain/needle.

However, I think I could grin and bear it if I found the perfect design.

I would like something to do with a cat, coz I'm changeable but the one constant thing about me is my love of cats, but I don't know exactly what, and wouldn't have any idea where to start looking.

Anybody arty wanna design me a small one?

I have a ickle hummingbird on my left shoulder , I'd like another one , just not sure what yet.
I found it didn't really hurt as much as I thought it would, but it did make me feel sick and she had to stop halfway through .... but I'm glad I did get it done and also glad that I have it in a place where I can choose if its seen or not
