Winners of the World Cup
Well done Brazil on winning the World Cup, I think they deserved it. Plus, at least now we can say that we were knocked out by the cup holders

I thought they played quite well and were a bit unlucky not to get something from the match.

They got a medal, and second place, and they can rest assured that there towels are still on their sunbeds when thaty get home!

Yep, Germany did surprise me in the attacking way they played and they deserved to at least get a goal at the end of it. But I'm still glad they lost and Brazil won. Over the course of the tournament, they were the best team and Germany had an easy route to the final.
And I'm pleased that England lost to the eventual champions and we can say that we scored against Brazil and took the lead. And Germany didn't!!
Still, bit of a kick in the teeth that Brazil will now have to qualify for Germany 2006, whereas Germany will automatically qualify as hosts! How did FIFA come up with that?!?

Milky - just face it, mate. The most active participation Scotland will have in International tournamnets in the near future is having Hugh Dallas officiating at one of the games
Edit - You'll also notice that in my original post I was actually agreeing that Germany played very well and had control of a lot of the game

Just watching the german team arrive in frankfurt. there are thousands of people waiting for them. good for them. In my opinion, they've done a good job, and i am proud on them!
