Grrrrr....I'm upset ! :(

About 6 weeks ago, I quit my job so that I could stufdy for my A Levels, on the understanding that I could go back to work there when I finished. I called then up oday only to be told that they didn't have any vacancies and, as the manager put it, I had 'missed ythe boat'.

Now I have to go through the hassle of finding a job so that I can get somne money together for uni. I'm sooo annoyed at myself for not going to see them sooner.

I'm soooo angry at myself !

I'm in need of hugs

These things happen, and studying for A-Levels is incredibly stressful, you need some time afterwards before getting a summer job.

Don't be too hard on yourself.

*huggles* galore from over here. You did the right thing taking time off though - i wish i had then i might have got the a-level grades i was capable of

On the jobs front - don't stress too much, something will turn up. it always does

*Hugs H2H* Thats sooo mean. It's their loss, and think of it this way, all it means is that by not having this job, it has opened a path for you, to get a better job, with not such a mean boss, if he's that mean when your not working for him, imagine how mean he would be if you were

*Hugs* - that sucks! Did they definitely say it was OK to take a few weeks and then come back? Because if that was the case I'd think you should be able to hold them to it.

I agree with Jayjay though - it's much more important to have had the free time to study for your A-Levels than keep a part-time job. I hope something turns up soon.

Lioness A stranger is simply a friend you haven't met yet.

I'm sure you'll soon get another job soon. Try joining up to thelocal temping gaencies. I did this when I needed summer jobs and as long as you have soe kind of computer skills (which you must have to use these boards) you should be able to get a office job fairly easy
