Len and I saw him at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon last night and had a brilliant night out
Len got to meet him in person (a mad dash out of the car when he saw him by the stage door) and got his photo taken with him - this had been Len's dream for years and years so he's a VERY happy bunny at the moment.
Its hard to believe that Sir Norman is 87 years old - he sang songs, told jokes, danced and ran across the stage with such zest he put me to shame
We were also treated to various other acts including a magician, the Duchess of Derby (remember her?), a couple of singers and a comedy duo - all in all a great night.
If Sir Norman comes by your way - you must *try* and get to see him - it'll be worth it
