awful badness!
i forgot my boyfriend's birthday! well not forgot! just got the dates mixed up :/ i'm such a ditz 
and now i feel reeeeeally stupid
i mean i even thoguht 'i'm sure it was on a sunday last year, wonder why its wednesday this year...oh well'
how do you make something like that up heh?

Or... if he's not a shallow fool with a one track mind like I am, a sincere apology and a hug should do the trick 
Forgiveness is a part of all friendships and in a special relationship such as that that exists between a boyfriend and girlfriend this shouldn't be a biggy. A hug and an apology should hopefully make it all okHe may even see the funny side if you explain abou the missing days thing

I had *nothing* to do with it!
Have to say he's right though, I'd just let him see how sorry you are and he'll come round. I do things like that all the time though, luckily my family and friends know I have a terrible memory and they are pretty forgiving

His self esteem may have taken a knock by you forgeting, though he should have reminded you or told you when he wanted to celebrate (which is why I suspect there is a 3 day gap between birthdays from one year to the next).
just give him plenty of hugs and reassurance and TLC.
Off course he could just be the type prone to forgetting his own birthday along with everyone elses in which case he may not really have noticed and will soon forget all about it.

i think it's all sorted, he just kinda laughed at me lol and i don't feel so bad anymore....someone reminded me this is what i'm normally like, and no-one should expect any different lol
