Good to see the Make-Up nominations there.

Yes, technically it's 4 categories, as they count prosthetic and non-prosthetic makeup separately.

To be honest, I'm struggling to think of other aspects of Buffy which merit a nomination. OMWF maybe, but then there was apparently a cock-up on the nomination forms they sent out. Angel, on the other hand.. Alexis Denisof proved himself to be a great actor, and there are a couple of episodes that top anything in Buffy this season.

I think 'Six Feet Under' deserved everything it got. A superb program.

How come Joss is so desperate for Emmy recognition? Him and the cast members are always saying that they think they are wrong with the judging, so why go to all the trouble to release the OMWF dvd? It even had which awards they could be nominated for on the back Aren't they getting a little desperate?

OK stress over I just think that from BtVS's point of view, awards are nice considering its such a long running show.

I suspect that all the other shows go to just as much trouble to try and get nominations. Buffy gets a lot of publicity in this regard because, well, it's been going quite a while now and despite audience and critical acclaim, it hasn't done very well in these awards. The feeling that it's being deliberately ignored or overlooked by the judges is not without justification.

I don't particularly care about it, but well, what's wrong with Joss wanting to achieve recognition for his work?
