We're all going to die!!

The BBC reports that scientists have discovered an asteroid which based on current estimates of its orbit will collide with earth on February 1st 2019. Yikes.

Now before you all panic, in reality, they do add that their readings of its position are probably inaccurate and that over coming weeks they will be able to accurately calculate it, and god willing, it wont actually be on a collision course with us.

Even so, what if it is? I suppose we've got till 2019 to send Bruce Willis to land on it and blow it up?

Do you think that would actually be possible or is that just pure hollywood?

Apparently were not all going to die though but if it was to hit it would wipe out a whole lotta people!!

Stoo There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.

I guess it'd be a good excuse for a big get-together and drink ourselves into oblivion.. literally

If they can estimate when this is supposed to happen then surely they can estimate where it's gunna land, then we can all just not be in that place at that time. See easy!!

Thing is it doesn't feel real...like its won't actually happen whether thats due to movies, or the time scale or just me being dim, i don't know ( i mean the asteriod...not me being 33...)
