A "shipper" is one who has: an interest in a "relationship" between a given two characters,

Normal relationships are (for the example of Buffy)

Buffy/Angel
WilloW/Oz
Cordy/Xander

& odd relationships such as Willow/Angel etc

There are those that are proponents of "Slash relationshhips" which are generally homosexual relationships that are not existing pairings for example:

Buffy/Faith
Giles/Xander
Angel/Xander
Willow/Tara, not too sure about this one, cos although it fits the description of a "Slash relationship they also fit the catagory of "normal couple" but nevermind.

Personally I'm a big fan of Willow/Tara & a minor Shipper of Willow/Angel, but nevermind.
