sorry to make this thread a bit depressing, but a bloke did this the other day in stevenage on his 18th birthday fell through a window and the glass cut straight into hiskidneys and he blead to death after crawling a short way and his mates jsut ran off and left him. so a lot of the time there are real dangers to what can happen from drinking.

Many years ago, drunken tomfoolery in the high street led to me and some other bloke I'd just met falling over and into a building society window. This broke, the alarms went off, and we were duly arrested.
Things not to do when drunk.....
Yes I was so cool dancing on the roof of a Fiesta in my mini skirt and high heels. Not so cool when I fell 4ft shoulder first and almost killed myself. Anyone else done stupid things while drunk
?

Yes, 18th birthdays are dangerous things... mine coincided with the American Football team I played for (don't ask :eek: ) holding a "gentlemens' only" night with a couple of young ladies who appeared to be having some trouble retaining their clothes... I drank way too much Southern Comfort and made the mistake of telling one of the strippers that it was my birthday... the next thing I knew, I was on my back on the floor... then someone stole my underpants and a fight began... not really clear what happened next but it killed the evening stone dead...

Erm...... I remember when I got drunk for the first time in my life (a mates 18th birthday party at their house) I took off my cloathes and danced in my underwear with a curtain

Crikey, did he really know how to show a girl a good time... Little bit concerned about your next one, though - sounds like something criminal may have happened when you were too unconscious to notice...

At my 18th, everything was going very well, everyone was partying hard in this huge room. It was after midnight and people started leaving so the guys who were on the door to stop uninvitees (is that a real word?) coming in kind of relaxed a bit. Then some lad came in and saw his 'girlfriend' dancing with some other chap. He came in, smashed one of the glass bowls that was on the buffet table and promptly stabbed him.

It was a great night apart from that though.

Whilst living in Southampton, missing my last train from Bournmouth, walking home to southampton (Swathling)through the new forest, Bournmouth looked a bit rough to hang around in the middle of the night. Got stopped and questioned by the police in the forest (following an A road that was more like a motorway, but they did not even give me lift
)
Got into the Student Newspaper for it (as I was on the admistrative committee at the time and I think it boosted the number of votes I got at the next election

T - while you were falling off cars , i was pavement surfing with my face! And funnily enough, i was VERY VERY drunk

Yes I was rather worried in the morning but my lovely friends who were not quite as unconscious assure me nothing happened and how they got broken was totally innocent, just wish I could remember........

(quotes)apart from having my hairy chest flashed for me by some of the other members (mentioning no names, Peg and Lioness..) and collapsing in a giggling heap on the floor, then hving peeps take photos at Eclipse.. but that's about it.

And DM & T - all I have to say is OUCH - getting drunk shouldn't be so painful

Funnily enough I've never been drunk enough to do something really stupid yet - give me time
