FP actually split in two a while ago, the one with the website and catalogue is Forbidden Planet International and used to be fp scotland, I guess that's expansion for you
All the ones that aren't mentioned on the website belong to the other group, but I don't know much about them..

(fp london DO have a site now its the name dot com but its pretty naff my nephew couldve done a better job and i doubt it updated that much....you'll have better luck coming into the store.)

When I was a kid, and read '2000ad' ever week, I used to come down to London occasionally (big adventure to a kid from a sheltered Home Counties family) and visit the original Forbidden Planet in Denmark Street... it was small and dark and poky and a little bit seedy, and when you bought something you got it in a square paper bag the size of a 12" single with a drawing by Brian Bolland on it. Funny to think I now know people who work there. Or wherever it now is.

the one in newcastle is kinda small, and it usually smells funny. i don't know it just doesn't seme as good as it used to...hope the one in London is good.

But i've been to the London one. It is large (with a basement full of books) but when i went there was only one shelving part for buffy which was a little dissapointing.

Hmmmmmm, Linz says there's one in Bristol - i could get my sister to get some things for me
