I've been in love twice. The first time with the guy who broke my heart 9 years ago, the second time with my fiance. And while both experiences were different, I'd say both of them were love. The love for my fiance is very much deeper, but that's a product of the fact that we've been together for nearly six years now while I was only with the other guy for 9 months.

I don't know how I knew I was in love, I just knew it. And you have to trust that what you feel is the most you can feel. That's part of being in love, having to take it on trust. But I'm pretty sure I couldn't love anyone more than my fiance because I think I'd probably pop if I did :choking noises at the awful mushiness of it all:

As for me, no, I can't say I've been in love. Have had strong feelings for certain people but I think they were more crushes than love.

Yeah I've been in love with the wrong person and I'm another one who compares everyone I meet to him. They say you only have 1 true love so if that was myn I'm totally gutted!!!

also after being in love how do yuo know its really love as the next preson you fall for you could love a hell of a lot more when the previous one you thought it was true love and you never know when love can gets to tis peak coz theres no way to know, only by trusting yourself it is as high as it can go.

I didn't really believe in soul mates, or maybe i did but didn't want to, until I met Graham, and now I can put my hand on my heart and say I have met mine

He's not only my love but my best friend, and maybe it helps that we were friends before going out (hell, he was my lodger before we were going out!!).

I can honestly say I love him so much, that I would die if it meant that he'd live...

Well, I believe I'm far too young to even understand love. I'm nearly at Uni, but still I think people anywhere near this age are just too immature to be in love and it really annoys me when people throw it around the word as if it is real, when it blatantly isn't.

Me personally, I've never been in love, manly because I don't think I can care about someone more than myself. It sounds really selfish, but it's the truth.

Yup. My "sort of on/off ex" is my soul mate. He's my complete other 1/2. We might bicker and pretend we hate each other sometimes but neither of us can go for too long without seeing the other - much to Yvonnes disgust LOL. He has been the only guy that I have *really* loved, 'tho 2 others came close.

Never been in love but I'm only 16! and *shocking truth time* I've never actually had a boyfriend since junior school!

i had a first love.i went out with him on and off for 2 years,but he used to come round my house at about 2am every night after he saw his friends/,and i realise now how immature he was.he gets married next week and i pity his new wife.we are still friends.
i now feel i may have found the love of my life,hes caring,respects me,lots of fun and nice looking.hes certainly nothing like that last one.

I am definately in love! In fact I've just moved in with my man after only 8 months!

I have been in love before, in fact the only 2 relationships i've had i've been in love... i think this means i'm doing something right. Certainly seems that way at the moment

I was first in love when I was about 17/18 with a girl I met, but she wasn't up for a serious relationship, just a bit of fun. So we called it off, and I was destroyed, cos for me it had been like love at first sight near enough. About a week later, a girl came into the pub who was absolutely drop dead gorgeous - she could have been a model. A few of my friends knew her, and very shortly, near enough every guy in that room of the pub was trying to chat her up. I ignored her, staring miserably into my beer. Maybe she wasn't used to someone not paying attention to her, but she ignored all these guys, and came and sat down next to me and started talking to me. I had my mates mouthing silent expletives at me as if to say "how the **** did he do that???" She was 22 and at my age then, that was so cool!

Anyway, we ended up getting on really well, and were just about to kiss, when I pulled back and told her I was still getting over this girl..blah blah blah...that was the end of that. So I totally wrecked that oppurtunity and still kick myself today

I next fell in love with a girl who is a good friend now, and i'm glad it turned out that way, cos I prefer being her friend.

And finally, I fell in love with Kelly. It wasn't a quick process, it is something that has grown deeper over time, and seems to cement itself stronger all the time. Hence the proposal!

But kitty, I aint worth trading your life for. Maybe i'm worth a few beers though
