A-level Results

I know it is still a few days away, but it has been on my mind soooo much lately that I thought I would see how many other people are awaiting this dreaded day?

I am so nervous that everytime I think about it my whole stomach just drop, AHHHHHHH!!!!

Yep i'm awaiting mine too!! The uni's get them tomorrow!!

I really really wanna get hold of them just to know what I got realy, but i'm not really bothered about them!! I'm quite calm about the whole thing really!!

If i've got what I need for uni i'm happy (B,B,C) but if i've not it's no biggy, i'll just back to college and have another go or take a year out or something!!

Good luck to everyone though!! hope eveyone gets what they need!! If I do well i'll have drink for you all when i'm away celebrating!!

Going on a bit of a get away on the saturday after the results with my b/f and his best mate, if we do well it's celebrating for 5 days,

if not we're gonna hide!! hehe!!

Good luck to everyone waiting for results.

Glad I'm past the exams stage, they're not fun

and I was rotten at them.

Even if you don't get what you need - phone up the uni and speak to them, they may have places anyway and would rather places went to people who'd applied for them rather than through clearing, especially if your predicted grades were good enough. And if not -- result! A year's holiday

AS level reults are this Thursday

I'm feeling really sick thinking about my A Level results. Everytime I think about it, my stomach turns !!!

I'm really scared

I am actually looking forward to getting my results, good or bad. I never take the dreaded 'exam pressure' on board, it's not worth it. I hated one of my subjects and didn't do enough work for the other one, so i doubt i'll have good results, but... so what?

Exams are just pieces of paper, they aren't life or death and they certainly aren't worth crying or getting ill.

I tend to be fairly good at exams even if i haven't done enough work, so that could be my saving grace. For my AS-Levels i did 0 reading for history and got a B, 4 marks of of an A, which seriously pissed off my classmates *g*

Hope everyone else does well in their exams, and remember: Exams are NOT worth getting worked up about!!

Good point Maff! Wish I could be as laid back as you... But still must remember they're not life or death! Even though I'm goin with my boyfriend to get his AS results on thursday and I think I'm more nervous than him

arrrrrgh!! i'm dreading it i reckon i've messed up at least 2 of my AS's :/
and last night i had a dream about my teacher telling me i was worthloess and making an example of me in front of everyone of how not to do things...it was horrible

well, if i could open them by myself it'd be fine and never have to tell anyone but its the 'omg what did you get? i got this!!!' type thing that upsets me
i know how hard i worked for them and if it doesn't pay off i'll be very upset, especially if people who i know didn't have to try as hard as i did do really well and shove it in my face
what an attitude eh? :/ i should be happy for people bah.

When I was working in broadcast PR and representing a college, GMTV wanted us to arrange for some students to open their A-level results live on air... the catch was, they wanted the students to include some who the college knew had failed, so they could get good shotsof their reactions... we told GMTV where to stick it
