help, my mouse is alive

i think i may have got a virus somehow and basically i couldn't get oinlnie for a while, and my mouse is like alive. i have to move it reall;y slowly, if not it clicks on stuff and starts and stops all by itself, anyone know how i can get rid of it, as i tried like a virus check thing but i don't think tis picking it up.

Have you done Start, Control Panel, Mouse and see if you can reset your settings? Or taken out the rollerball and checked it's not clogged up with fluff?

ok no fluff and i'm having a nightmare jsut trying to get into resetting my mouse and can't find the whatsit to do it, but i looked in mosue prpeties and it seemed ok. its like west world i think my mouse has broken the programming and come alive. i'm scared

Sange It's only kinky the first time!!! after that it's just the Norm ;o)

Spike I had that happen once and after I called in a few priest and they said a few words and chucked some holy water over my pc , I had to buy a new PC and not just a mouse

Seriously though I think ya mouse needs changing sounds like ya all fluffed up

Mice tend to pick up bits of crud during their travels accross the mouse pad.

A good spring clean never hurts.

Why would you need to use more than one mouse at a time??? No need for a plural

I wsa reading something about a zookeeper who was pondering over the plural of Mongoose. So he wrote his order out as "Please sent me a Mongoose. p.s. Please send me another one"

Or even better, get an optical one. No more cleaning necessary.
