I'm not familiar with the symptoms you are describing.

However, if you go here:-

you can initiate a free online scan. They are indicating that there are some new viruses in the wild which spread via IRC, DCC and Kazaa

Thanks GS I used their checker too , but still didnt find anything , Ive contacted my scanners technical support team , they say I need to do a Dos Scan , they also seem to think its a joke Virus , as in it isnt harming anything just annoying and thats why the scanner doesnt pick it up

When my pc boots up the calculators arnt there but as it continues to boot up they appear , Ive tried looking in the set up but I cant see anything.

Ok now im having problems doing a DOS scan , If anyone knows how I can change me a:\> in to a C:\> shout at me

Typing c: will switch you from the A drive to the C drive, or more generally -- the letter of the drive followed by a colon.

I tried that
I've done c: cd c: cd c:..
cd/d c: loads of combinations and cant get it to change

I dont know , is the main answer I did a full system scan and a full Dos Scan , and it detected nothing , Mcafee told me they thought I had the Klez Virus (Ive spent two days talking to people there ) it was something that was running in my startup , basically a program that was a virus but not a virus ( if that makes sense ) but I manged to get rid eventually by going inot diagnostic set up then safe mode then doing a restore back to the 7th august and hey presto no calculators.

I'm stumpde and Macfee are stumped as to what it was.
