had the minutes silence during Chem. I still find it hard to believe it actually happened, and like others i can still remember where i was and what i was doing when i found out.
People still died, no matter what you think of the events after and before, or what you think of 9/11 in terms of atrocity/diasater. Those people had loved ones who will be greiving and familys they left behind, and i think they are the people we should be thinking of, as well of those who rescued/were rescued and died.
Atrocity: a shockingly cruel act, especially an act of wanton violence against an enemy in wartime ...

extreme evil or cruelty
or
something repellent or extremely bad of its kind
Personally i think 9/11 counts as an atrocity. It was cruel. It was shocking. But thats just my view of course
I watched the documentries the other day, and some, in fact most of the stories were very touching.
