Ear Infection
I swear it's just Karma, but on Tuesday night the Powers That Be saw fit to inflict the world's worst ear infection on me Within 36 hours it turned from a little ache to an ear infection, an inner ear infection and a swollen ear canal - how attractive that all sounds 
I'm now on ear-drops, antibiotics and big, massive, pink, torpedo sized painkillers. I'm completely deaf in my left ear and I'm spending most of my day spaced out on painkillers with my head on a hot water bottle.
A few people have tried to call me in the last few days, so I apologise for not answering. The ring tones all hurt my head so the phone is on silent, even if I did hear it I wouldn't answer 'cos I can't hear you anyway

Thanks for the well wishes, Jola, I'd swap your tooth for my ear anyday!
Oh and for an ear update, I'm now deaf in both ears as apparently being deaf and hurty in one wasn't enough
I don't need massive pink painkillers to have spaced out thoughts of Mr Diesel, I don't even have to be awake

Big hugs and lots of sympathy. Used to have tons of ear infections as a child so I know how painfull they can be. Get well soon.

Oh no! I've also got an ear infection It's no-where near as bad, but stil there is a lack of hearing. But it's slowly going away Hope you're does too

Very sucky 
at least you get loads of painkillers & sympathy & make sure the antibiotics are ones you can drink on

Hopefully your painkillers will kick in soon!!! Sounds like you need anti inflammatory pills though - when are you due back at the docs?
