Computer blew up
My computer blew up 
not happy, especially as I brought it from Tiny with a 5 year warrenty 3 years ago and the company has gone bust (I just thought it had been taken over) can't connect to the help services as it is 50p a minute and they do not take calls from mobile so whilst I talk to them on a pay phone and get half way through I run out of money.
Do have one person who thinks it is a 15 pound power pack, hope it is and when I get the case off it looks blown, so I can just buy a new one.
Need computer now more than ever.

Oh dear, that sounds awful It's at times like this that I'm glad I have my own geek who can build me a PC and fix it when it goes wrong. My colleague had problems with a Tiny machine recently too and it all developed into mega-hassles. I hope you get it all sorted out for not much cash.

I didnt realise Tiny had gone bust either! Our computers Tiny and its rubbish it crashes as often as it possibly can and just goes crazy all the time, I think its posessed!

I didn't know Tiny had gone bust! I thought they had just amalgamated with Time to be Computer World?
I certainly would not recommend Tiny either. On delivery of my computer, the floppy disk drive of my "carefully checked" machine did not work so it went back. Last month, after 3 years, my hard drive packed up. Just got it back and am "looking forward" to receiving my £200 bill.

If i remmeber correctly, on Watchdog, Time said they were taking over the warranties (as well as the stock, shops etc etc.)

not to provide a downer or anything but when the same thing happened to me a couple of months ago I borrowed my mate's power supply to check how much damage was done. Turns out the processor and BIOS are knacked. Still, more than likely all you need is a power supply and they are very cheap.
P.S do any of you think summat's up 'cause the company that made my P.C also went bust. It's my theory that bad companies go bust and bad companies build bad products. But then again mine was just a big pile of failing parts from the day it was bought.

I blew my power supply up big time the other month, serves me right for plugging components in without being bothered to turn the machine off.. It went BAMMMMMMMMMM!! and kitty thought I was dead the little lamb.
Thankfully its like a computer graveyard at our house so I swapped it out for another I had lying around..the old beast lives on
I'd suggest you try a new Power Supply or grab an old one from someone else's dead machine. Old PCs are ten a penny (our own crappy PC was rescued from its destined trip to the skip)
