I'm in love...

... with the TaxMan

I got home today to a letter from the Inland Revenue and with it was a nice fat cheque. It's not life changing money and its only 3 figures, but it means I can make Nos without being bullied into it

So I'm still bouncing around the house all happy and giggly 'cos this will pay off my overdraft and put me in a better position to pay off debts, etc.

*g* and I wasn't even expecting it!

Oh, this brings back bad memories. It reminds me of the unexpected Xmas bonus we once got when the company was doing really well. I got about 1500 quid out of the blue. It was the best Xmas present ever....

Then I crashed my car which was only insured for third party, and had to spend all the money on a new one.

Yvonne - glad to hear the good news - tho we were chatting on the phone til the early hours, hope you got up ok for work

My only good news was i found Â£1 under my bed, but got a tv licence bll for Â£112 and a CouncilBill for Â£516.00 :'(

I got up in time for work(ish - I was 5 minutes late

), and I *still* won't change my post for yours

Last time I got a tax rebate it was for Â£1022.35, I went on holiday to Australia and blew the lot in seconds

This time it will pay for an End Of Days ticket (eventually), a couple of weekends in London and the rest I'll whittle away foolishly and have nothing to show for it
