so i;m walknig to work, all the shops are closed, lights out and i'm like whast going on? get to work, all clsoed and its like woah, finally get in the whole town centre had a massive power cut, do half hours work and am allowed to go, wahey!

Lucky you! Wish Central London would have a power cut, that could be cool!

Apparently parts of Oxford had a power cut on Sunday. I was chatting to a friend of mine who lives there. She had been to a pub that was serving drinks by candlelight!

Central London - powercuts less frequent here.

Although I used to live in Somerset in the middle of nowhere and we had to have power failure kits in strategic places (candles, matches, torches - that kind of thing) cos the power was always going.
(Although I don't want you to think my childhood was like an episode of 'Little House on the Prarie' - we did have indoor lavatories and hot running water lol)
