thanks everyone!
there actually hasn't been any going on, so thanks PoF, hunny, for managing this on my behalf. i have managed to buy and get given ridiculous amounts of shoes, though, so it was a v good birthday despite the lack of booze. have also eaten large amounts of chocolate, so that was also good.
am going to the motor show today with my dad to do some father-daughter bonding and drool over cars
