Erm, I had trouble with mine too, but I must have managed it in the end as i'm now sat in the university of Huddersfield library!!

I also decided like a fool to do mine at the last minute!! never a good idea!! but I took mine to my personal tutor, they helped as much as they could and friends who had already done theres had a go too!!

Generally stuff like financial and transport support stuff.

(ie: things that you read about in the "How to Apply" book and become incredibly tempted to scream "Eeeeaaaaarrrrgh!" in the middle of the College Library. Which is not clever.)

And to make things worse, I can't remember my GCSE grades. Not a problem you may think, but when you consider that I've lost all records of my GCSE results since enrolling at College, it becomes a *very big* problem!

All I had to do was fill in the names of 6 unis I might want to go to :/

Man, I'm starting to feel *way* old. It was still UCCA forms when I was applying and all I had to do was nominate *5* universities, the only tricky bit trying to figure out which ones would get huffy about being put too far down the list.

/me is clearly very old! Only 5 in my day, and they didn't need putting in any order until you chose your first and second choice once the unis had made the offers.

Apparently so. There's a big section where you've got to fill in your financial arrangements, complete with evil financial jargon, such as "if you currently live in an area that is an LEA, you may qualify for..." then you've got to put in some code, something kinda like "I live in an LEA and my parent/guardian is on income support" would be something like code 03. Or something like that.

Evil! Damn all the confusing nonsense to hell!!


EDIT: Oops, I forgot to put one majorly evil detail: I have to apply to my old high school for new GCSE certificates, (so I can find out what my grades were, and to put something into my 'Record of Achievement') which mean I'm going to be charged. Again.

Is this on your actual UCAS form, where you choose 8 courses/universities that you want to apply to? Or have you already chosen your university and are filling out later forms?
